Which prospects showed off on tape in Part I? From Rapid City, Wessington Springs, Tea Area, Dell Rapids, Sioux Falls and more, this list is loaded with talent you will see playing on Saturdays.
Jacob shows off outstanding physicality at the point of attack and shows off well-versed footwork constantly getting to the second level. He also shows off an offensive tackle that shows off one of the best pull-blockers South Dakota has to offer on the offensive line as Jacob plays with a fluid downhill presence and is a sound angle blocker with his elusive hand positioning. He certainly shows off a prospect that would be a great FCS fit amongst the Dakotas schools. Twitter

Holden pops out on tape with his mobility which is why in my eyes he is one of South Dakota’s best 2025 quarterbacks and he does a great job extending plays with his legs and has all the arm strength you want on all three levels of the field. The consistency Holden has on intermediate and deep routes with his precision also should be eye-catching to college coaches as a 6’2 210 pound QB prospect that really excelled this year growing his ball placement. He also has a growing poise when he does stay in the pocket that I expect will continue to blossom in a college camp setting this summer. Certainly a Dakotas 2025 QB prospect to keep heavy tabs on this Spring and into summer camps. Twitter

This is not the first time we have seen a Ruesink brother from Dell Rapids become a stockriser on our recruiting board, as I was heavily impressed with Dell Rapids ATH Cole Ruesink Cole Ruesink 5’11” | 170 lbs | ATH Dell Rapids | 2025 State SD in the 2023 season. Cole’s field vision stretches out wide as he is a determined ball carrier between the tackles and that also has shown off in the Quarriers receiving core especially in the later playoff games this season. Cole has excellent athletic movement and plenty of burst and consistently made the difficult catches look easy this season with his football IQ. Certainly there is another Ruesink with a bright college football future in my eyes coming out of Dell Rapids for his upcoming senior season. Twitter
Victor is a 2025 prospect I will expect to be a stockriser by this summer, as I like the jolt he shows within his first step to set the tone with his run blocking. He shows off quick hands that consistently get downhill into the second level with his driving blocking as I like how well Victor finishes his blocks against elite 11AAA competition in 2023. He also shows off balanced footwork that doesn’t fear the edge rusher pressing the gas into the backfield as at 6’4 280 pounds, expect him to find plenty of next-level suitors this Spring into summer camps an a 2025 offensive linemen on the rise in my eyes. Another 2025 prospect from Sioux Falls that I believe has not even came close to scratching the surface with his potential, is Sioux Falls Roosevelt’s Austin Markman Austin Markman 5’11” | 150 lbs | ATH Roosevelt | 2025 State SD . Over last Spring and summer, I saw what the tape shows, a defensive back that plays with a heck of an amount of range in the secondary as his explosiveness catches way bigger than the measurables he shows off as Austin plays with great length in his upper body. Austin runs like a deer at safety and does a great job with his change of direction within his ball tracking ability. This kid is due in my eyes for an eye-opening summer and upcoming senior season. Ralph was a significant stockriser for the 11AAA state champion Sioux Falls Lincoln Patriots in 2023 as a running back that runs with plenty of fluidity and downhill durability for his size. He also has a ton of instinct with his change direction that can send the defender flying in the other direction with the twitch he has once he gets into the second level as Ralph shows plenty of balance in his burst from start to finish. The Patriots passing game got tons of love this season, however Ralph was certainly no slouch as his tape shows off as a junior that is back for more in 2024 and one that certainly looks like a prospect you will see playing on Saturdays.
