Season Recap: Franklin Lightning

Grimes and his staff guided Franklin to their best season in six years. Franklin made their first playoff appearance since 2017. Their playoff run ended after the first round. Reid had his best season yet. Reid's senior season stats let scouts know that he is the real deal. [player_tooltip player_id='1091633' first='Will' last='Reid'] popped off during Franklin's playoff loss against Newberg on November 3. He cemented himself into Oregon's history books with the most passing yards thrown in a PIL game, with 591. [player_tooltip player_id='1091633' first='Will' last='Reid'] had a consistent season for the Lightning, making him one of Franklin's best quarterbacks ever. He topped off his outstanding regular season with a legendary performance against Newberg in the first round of the playoffs.
