However, I believe I have identified five specific players whose regular season production has only boosted their stock. Below, I highlight five offensive prospects set to light up round two.
Furious Hoskins Furious Hoskins 6’1″ | 180 lbs | WR Palo Verde | 2024 State NV is an underrated playmaker out of Las Vegas. Don’t be surprised when schools surrounding Nevada come in late to his recruitment this winter. Furious shows a good combination of speed and acceleration taking underneath screens untouched for touchdowns. Good tracking ability and strong hands show coming down with contested vertical balls. Good balance, quickness, and strength in his finish allows Furious to create anywhere on the field with the ball in his hands.
Trace Estes Trace Estes 6’5″ | 195 lbs | ATH Douglas | 2024 State NV is set to make his playoff debut for Douglas High School. Good size, toughness, and strong hands allow Trace to make the tough catches in traffic over the middle. Trace’s balance and good vision allow him to earn extra yards when operating in small spaces underneath. Good length, athleticism, and tracking ability consistently show when Trace elevates over defenders to snag 50/50 balls out of the air; The redzone threat is sure to have his recruitment heat up before 2024 gets here.

Eli Finlayson Eli Finlayson 5’11” | 190 lbs | RB Elko | 2024 State NV may be the most underrated running back in northern Nevada. He received his first offer from Western Montana in July, so expect more recruiters to lock in on Elko’s offense as they enter round two of the playoffs. Eli shows good vision and acceleration powering through traffic as a wildcat quarterback. Eli shows good patience and decisiveness allowing power runs to develop. Good strength, balance, and quickness as a ball carrier highlights Eli’s ability to create aligned anywhere at the next level.
Cale Breslin Cale Breslin 5’11” | 190 lbs | RB Faith Lutheran | 2025 State NV is right at the top of the list of offensive prospects for Faith Lutheran. He has been invited to games at Utah State and Fresno State this fall and also received interest from Navy & Columbia University. Cale’s good combination of speed, strength, and burst is sure to be on full display during round two of the playoffs. Good vision, power, toughness, and lateral quickness allow Cale to evade tacklers a variety of ways in the open field. Keep a lookout for the versatile playmaker to receive more national interest after Faith Lutheran’s postseason has finished.

Armando Lewis Jr Armando Lewis Jr 6’4″ | 205 lbs | ATH Canyon Springs | 2024 State NV Jr. is a do-it-all playmaker for Canyon Springs. Armando received an offer from Utah Tech and attended a UNLV game this month. Watch for more offers from schools surrounding Nevada to come in late this winter. Armando’s next level combination of size and speed shows right away gaining vertical separation on smaller defenders playing off coverage. Good balance, and strength allow Armando to power through defenders for extra yards in traffic. Armando’s vision and good quickness allows him to create in small spaces with the ball in his hands.
