Jesuit @ West Linn (-39)

Give the Crusaders credit for coming to play last week the way they did. Washington commit [player_tooltip player_id='520433' first='Elias' last='Johnson'] played out of his mind, with 4 PBU's on D and 3 TDs offensively including a kick return, in the 34-28 win over Lake Oswego. Jesuit has won 6 straight and RB/OLB [player_tooltip player_id='152333' first='Lonnie' last='Burt'] Jr. is one of the top two-way players in the state.

All of this said as West Linn beat the Crusaders 43-14 a few months back and have consistently pulled their starters at half versus most teams. Look for the Lions to drop the hammer on their competition the next few weeks and not let up like they have done for most of the season. [player_tooltip player_id='152344' first='Hunter' last='Haines'] and [player_tooltip player_id='152336' first='Gus' last='Donnerberg'] are both having unreal senior campaigns, being named the Three Rivers League Players of the Year. They also feature a litany of the region's top underclassmen, led by unanimous 1st team all-league QB/WR combo [player_tooltip player_id='406774' first='Baird' last='Gilroy'] and [player_tooltip player_id='285868' first='Danny' last='Wideman'].

A big strength for Jesuit is typically the line led by coach John Andreas, but I for see that being an issue against a Lions group that has absolutely dominated up front.

4* Sophomore RB [player_tooltip player_id='284119' first='Ansu' last='Sanoe'] is out, and the Pacers are beat up in general after an impressive second half of the season. Fellow sophomore standout [player_tooltip player_id='769915' first='Noah' last='Tishendorf'], who earned 1st team all TRL honors on D, stepped up big last week scoring both of the teams TD's in the 13-10 win over Sheldon.

Look for this young and very talented Pacers squad to struggle with CC like everyone else. To say that the Rams have been dominant would be an understatement. 3x Mt Hood POY [player_tooltip player_id='152354' first='Cru' last='Newman'] is a special breed, tossing 90 TDs with only 10 INTs, and close to 7000 passing yards over the last three years.

Much like West Linn, Central features some of top underclassmen in the West. This could be over by half.

Tigard @ Sherwood (-17)

The Bowmen defense is just not allowing points. They beat a good Oregon City team 41-8 last week in what was a telling contest with people rightfully questioning Sherwood's strength of schedule.

Overall Tigard's offense has struggled but the D can play. Last week's shutout of an undefeated South Salem team that was averaging 50+ points per game speaks to the Tigers defense, with D1 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='511299' first='Roman' last='Martin'] and [player_tooltip player_id='302220' first='Nicco' last='Simonetti'] playing lights out.

Pacific Conference POY [player_tooltip player_id='278398' first='Kasen' last='Covert'] has been doing a good job, with the offense averaging 44 points per game and outscoring opponents 442-36 on the year. I have a hard time seeing Tigard being able to compete with these factors known.

Nelson @ Tualatin (-8.5)

Nelson has had a great year at 8-2, with their only losses coming to the #1 and #2 teams in Oregon. Junior standout [player_tooltip player_id='285852' first='Avirey' last='Durdahl'] has played well with one of the better lines in the state protecting him. Look for the Hawks to try and control the clock and keep a very dangerous Tualatin offense off the field as much as possible.

The T-Wolves have fellow Jr. QB standout [player_tooltip player_id='285857' first='Nolan' last='Keeney'] back from injury, which allows all everything athlete [player_tooltip player_id='152355' first='AJ' last='Noland'] to move back and focus on his WR/S role. [player_tooltip player_id='152339' first='Jayden' last='Fortier'] is literally tossing kids around and dominating teams himself. Nelson will have to put a heavy focus on him and Noland, who caught 4 passes for 185 yards and 2 touchdowns last week. Essentially make someone other then those two beat you.
