The state playoffs have arrived across the state of Texas. Meanwhile, the recruiting news continues to heat up as we approach the early signing period. Scholarship offers and visits are making the headlines this week. We kick off our week with a look at recruiting across the Lone Star State.   [player_tooltip player_id='1150427' first='Marcus' last='Garcia']-Defensive Line-Denton Ryan-2025   [player_tooltip player_id='1150427' first='Marcus' last='Garcia'] is a versatile defensive lineman that can work all along the defensive front. Garcia has the ability to shut the run and the pass down. He uses his speed well to get into the offensive backfield. Garcia does a great job of getting off of blocks and into the defensive backfield. The Denton Ryan edge rusher earned a scholarship offer from the Texas A&M Aggies over the weekend. He is a prospect to watch out for on the defensive line over the next few years.   Tredarian Ball-Running Back-Texas-2026   One of the most explosive running backs in the state of Texas. Ball does a great job of finding the rushing lane. The Texas High prospect has good speed and the ability to cut the run to the outside. He does a good job of making opposing defenders miss and getting into the second level quickly. Over the weekend, Ball earned a scholarship offer from the Texas Longhorns. He is a prospect to watch out for in the backfield over the next two seasons.   [player_tooltip player_id='970330' first='Zaden' last='Krempin']-Offensive Line-Prosper-2026   [player_tooltip player_id='970330' first='Zaden' last='Krempin'] is a versatile offensive lineman that is well-suited for the tackle position. He has good power and will impress you with just how quick of an offensive lineman that he is. Krempin gets into the opposing defensive lineman quickly and he has the ability to punish opposing defensive linemen. The talented Prosper offensive lineman earned a scholarship offer from the Nebraska Cornhuskers earlier in the week. Krempin is an offensive line prospect to watch out for over the next few seasons.   [player_tooltip player_id='616324' first='Azorion' last='Sterling'] -Running Back-Karen Wagner-2024   [player_tooltip player_id='616324' first='Azorion' last='Sterling'] is a running back that does an impressive job of carrying the football between the tackles. He is a player that does a good job of catching the ball out of the backfield. Sterling can make the opposing defender miss and get into the open field quickly. Earlier in the week, Sterling earned a scholarship offer from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He is a running back with the potential to do big things on Saturdays in the future.   [player_tooltip player_id='408582' first='Zane' last='Rowe']-Athlete-Denton Guyer-2027   [player_tooltip player_id='408582' first='Zane' last='Rowe'] is a prospect with the ability to play a number of positions for Denton Guyer. He has the versatility to see playing time on both sides of the ball. On the defensive side of the ball, Rowe can come off the edge with impressive quickness. Meanwhile, on the offensive side of the ball he can line up at the tight end or wide receiver position and punish opposing secondaries. Over the weekend, Rowe had the opportunity to visit the Baylor Bears. He is a prospect to watch over the next couple of seasons.
