JOHN BARSBY (8-1)

John Barsby has had almost a perfect season up to this point with their only loss coming in the second week of the season. Having earned a bye due to finishing as one of the top 4 teams in AA football, John Barsby shutout Holy Cross 19-0 in the quarter finals and then they beat the [player_tooltip player_id='892346' first='Emmet' last='Ward'] led Windsor by a final score of 28-9 in the semi finals setting up a showdown with Vernon who are undefeated. The John Barsby Bulldogs are led by their running back [player_tooltip player_id='1113994' first='Rhonde' last='Lyle'] who has rushed for a AA leading 1571 yards and 18 touchdowns in 9 combined regular season and playoff games. Suffice to say that if John Barsby is going to win the AA championship it will be due to [player_tooltip player_id='1113994' first='Rhonde' last='Lyle'] and their dominant run game.

VERNON (8-0)

Vernon is trying to do something that is very rare in AA football in British Columbia which is to go undefeated and complete a perfect season. Vernon was dominant throughout the regular season finishing with a point differential of +219 and their dominance has only continued throughout the playoffs. Finishing as the #1 seed and earning a bye, Vernon started their run to the championship with a dominant 54-14 over South Kamloops in the quarter finals then Vernon booked their ticket to the finals with another dominant win this time beating Nechako Valley 37-8. Vernon is very much a do it by committee team in every facet aside from their run game which is led by Jonah Lee who has 658 Yards on the season. If Vernon is able to shut down the dominant run game that has propelled John Barsby to the championship then Vernon should win this going away as they are the more well rounded and dominant team.
