Bryson Riggins – QB – Russell County
Riggins is raw, but made several big plays and showcased a lot of upside on a young Russell County team. Riggins isn’t the biggest guy, but he still looks to have plenty of physical development in front of him. Regardless, he has the arm strength to push the ball vertically and possesses the athleticism to escape and stay ahead of the chains with his legs. Riggins looks to have solid awareness in the pocket and does a good job of stepping up to evade pressure. At times on film, he does a good job of occupying the safety with his eyes and looking him off to set up an even bigger throw. He has a quick, long delivery and the ball pops out of his hand. He can fire the fastball, but he mixes up trajectories to hit specific routes and reach different areas of the field. Riggins is twitchy, has a big arm, and put up some impressive numbers given the circumstances. For those reasons, he has a chance to really make a name for himself on the recruiting trail once spring ball rolls around.
Zerrick Jones – RB – Andalusia
Zerrick Jones has been playing in a more role-specific setting behind blue-chip RB J’Marion Burnette J’Marion Burnette 6'1" | 205 lbs | RB Andalusia | 2024 State AL . However, he has played well for back-to-back seasons and is progressively getting better. Jones is a different back than Burnette as he is smaller and is used in more of a “scat-back” type role. However, he is an impressive prospect in his own right. Jones keeps his eyes up and hits openings up front quickly, exploding through the line of scrimmage. From there, he has the speed and bend as a runner to flex the ball to the outside and out-leverage defenders. He runs extremely hard, which allows him to pinball off would-be tacklers and regain his balance in a hurry. Perhaps one of the most impressive parts of his tape is his ability to start and stop. He might not be the kind of player who can dance around defenders in a phone booth, but the sudden hesitation he creates in defenders paired with the quick acceleration to his top speed is enough to quickly leave defenders chasing. Jones looks the part of an FBS RB and could scratch the P5 surface soon.
Keeyun Chapman Keeyun Chapman 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR Jackson | 2026 State AL – WR – Jackson
Chapman has already picked up several P5 offers, but that major recruiting surge is still on the horizon. Chapman is listed at 6’3 180 and plays even bigger. He has broad shoulders and big legs, he almost looks like he could eventually grow into a TE-type frame. With a player of his size, he is an obvious mismatch threat with a wide catch radius. However, the majority of his tape comes after the catch, which makes him even more intriguing. Once he gets the ball, you can tell Chapman is more than aware of the physical advantage he has on defenders, bullying them to the ground and dragging himself out of tackles to keep the play alive. He isn’t super twitchy in space and is more of a strider, but he quickly generates momentum and has the suddenness to weave in and out of running lanes. He does show the ability to run in-breaking routes and take the top off the defense, so the upside in that category is there. For that reason, I think Chapman is a prospect who will greatly benefit once the spring offers roll around.
Braylon Outlaw Braylon Outlaw 6'0" | 205 lbs | LB Pike Road | 2026 State AL – ATH – Pike Road
A productive defender with plus athleticism and plenty of versatility. Outlaw’s position would best be described as an LB, but he is capable of roaming all over the field by playing attached to the line as an edge rusher and dropping back into coverage as an N/S, where I think he projects at long-term. Outlaw is listed at 6’0 203 and flashes some excellent burst and pursuit skills on tape, instantly checking plenty of physical boxes. Outlaw is a pursuer of the football capable of flagging down the ball carrier from any position on the field. He has lightning-fast reaction skills and even when he’s a tick behind on his reads, he still possesses the speed and takes the correct angles to beat the football to a spot. Outlaw does an excellent job battling with blockers and navigating traffic by popping blockers onto their heels or creating extension to free himself up. When he closes in for the tackles, Outlaw makes hard contact, but he also does a good job of launching into the core of the ball carrier and wrapping up. Outlaw is a prime candidate to add some FBS and possibly P5 offers this spring.
Parker Prichett – OL – Russell County
Prichett holds offers and looks the part of a legit P5 OL prospect, but he too has yet to hit that big recruiting surge. There is a good chance this offseason will be the start of that recruiting push. Prichett comes in at 6’5 300 and holds his weight better than some older prospects. He isn’t a super twitchy athlete in space, but he does a good job of getting his eyes up and pinpointing second-level defenders when he goes to block. From there, he plays with a good base and times his punch and pursuit nicely to occupy defenders. Right now, his pass blocking looks to be the basis of his intrigue and the most polished part of his game. He plays with a smooth, consistent pass set and is naturally difficult to get around thanks to his width. Also, once he is locked in with a defender, he has the drive in his lower body to redirect momentum and power defenders out of the picture. Keep an eye on Prichett this offseason as there is a solid chance he start to rise onto the FBS and P5 radar.
