This past week I had a chance to scout the No.7 team in the province of Ontario, and a top 25 program nationally the Westmount Wildcats. Let me just say this team is built from top to bottom and should be expected to make a huge run at the OFSAA Championship.

Now a two year starter for the Wildcats, the junior pass thrower sees the field with elite vision. After taking Westmount to a regional Championship as a sophomore, he will be expected to do the same as he currently has the Wildcats with a 4-0 record. Denkers, is not a huge player in the pocket at only 5'11, 170 pounds but he provides very consistent and confident play when he drops back. Denkers has solid accuracy and can let it fly when needed, but his game is much more suited as a game manager, and he can certainly use his legs when needed.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"[player_tooltip player_id='1240208' first='Adam' last='Woods']","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"6'1u0022","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"2405","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"Westmount High School","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"Hamilton Varsity Tiger Cats","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_1_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"After watching the Wildcats last week, by far my favorite talent and arguably the best Center I've seen play across Ontario is senior Center [player_tooltip player_id='1240208' first='Adam' last='Woods']. Woods is also the Center for Team Ontario and just led the Varsity Tiger Cats to a provincial Championship in the Summer. Woods plays both sides of the ball for the Wildcats as a true center and D-Tackle. Usually playing at the 1-tech on defense, Woods provides a massive push and is often able to separate himself from the double team. Woods is probably one of the more unique players nation wide as he does not come off the field at all, which as a two way linemen is a testament to the strong motor he has. Woods is clearly the leader of this roster and he likely brings this group as far as he can go and dominate.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"Keenan Floyd","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"6'3u0022","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"2406","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"Westmount High School","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"Hamilton Varisty Tiger Cats","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_2_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"When continuing to look across the defensive line you'll notice a massive imposing edge rusher named Keenan Floyd. Floyd likely around 6'3, 240 plays the game with precision. Floyd has an elite outside dip and rip move that he displays often. It's definitely his bread and butter and opposing tackles seem to struggle regardless of the fact they know it's coming. Floyd also displayed an innate ability to bullrush the edge with ease setting major outside containment. Of note, Floyd lined up against a 6'8 Offensive Tackle from Saltfleet High School, where he drove the monstrous tackle back 8 yards before finding himself within arms reach of the QB to take down the sack. Floyd was one of the most impressive players I've seen all season.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"Zachary Pain","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"6'0u0022","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"2411","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"Westmount High School","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"Hamilton Varsity Tiger Cats","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_3_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"It would be hard to not to mention Zachary Pain. Pain who is also a two way player that wreaks havoc on both sides of the ball. At around 6-feet, 170 pounds Pain lines up in the slot receiver position and as a hybrid half back and safety on defense. Pain is the son of Westmount's Head Coach Tom Pain and you can see he's been taught well, as he plays the game almost a step ahead of every opponent. From making those extra stemming cuts to avoid defenders when on offense, or instinctually being able to jump routes a step quicker than his teammates, Pain displays and posseses a high football IQ that allows him to excel when he's on the field.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_4_player_details_player_name":"Matthew Frketich","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_4_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_4_player_details_height":"5'8u0022","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_4_player_details_position":"2408","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_4_player_details_school":"Westmount High School","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_4_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_4_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Finally, a guy who was on our pre-season watch list, Senior RB Matthew Frketich. Frketich is exactly what we expected he would be this season, a high profile back who's going to make you miss if you give him the perimeter of the field. Frketich continues to show why he's one of the most dangerous players in the province with the ball in his hands. When watching him play, he hauled in a swing pass before the half time from his own 20, that he must've made four defenders miss before taking it 80 yards untouched. If that wasn't enough, Frketich also put his wheels on display when he took a zone run scheme 60 yards to the house after breaking a pair of tackles before exploding for another massive TD. Frketich continues to impress and provides what looks to be the most dangerous rushing attack in all of Ontario.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6530056283deb"} /-->
