<p><strong>Trevor Vasquez</strong>, LB, 6'0”, 172, Olathe North, ‘24</p>

<p>Vasquez helped lead the Eagles' defense to a 14-point win over Mill Valley in week seven. The senior outside linebacker finished with 16 total tackles in the win. Two of those tackles were for a loss of yardage.</p>

<p><strong>Hunter Houser</strong>, LB, 6'2”, 185, Eisenhower (Goddard), ‘24</p>

<p>Eisenhower is undefeated and its defense is a major reason why. One of those defenders, senior Houser, had seven total tackles in a win over Salina South. Of those seven tackles, five came behind the line of scrimmage for lost yardage.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='543075' first='Logan' last='Holthaus']</strong>, OLB, 5'11”, 185, Blue Valley Northwest, ‘24</p>

<p>Holthaus is a physical and quick linebacker. He had 11 total tackles and seven solo tackles in a 28-7 win over rival Blue Valley North. Holthaus has 64 total tackles after seven games.</p>

<p>Pierce had 12 total tackles in a win over Seaman. He had three solo tackles and one sack in the Bobcats win over the Vikings. Pierce is a physical specimen and a very smart football player.</p>

<p>Cornett might not carry a tennis racket like his namesake Jim Cornett, but he can bring the wood. Cornett had 18 total tackles in a three-point loss to St. Thomas Aquinas. One of those tackles was for a loss of yardage. Through seven games he has made 45 total tackles.</p>
