One of the top Snappers in the state of Kansas is staying home and heading to Hutchinson Community College. Austin who also played Linebacker for Blue Valley showcased fast op times in Punt/FG, but also the athletic ability to cover downfield on Punts. I see Austin as a FCS/FBS D! Snapper one of these days. He has the athletic traits that most Snappers simply don’t posses. Austin is not afraid to be physical at the line of scrimmage or at the 2nd level when covering down on punts. Austin had offers from Butler CC, Coffeyvile CC, Garden City CC, Independence CC, and Hutch CC. Austin will be a solid addition to the Blue Dragons who look to repeat a National Title run.

Our first Snapper who really showed in the camp was by far Austin Cornett Austin Cornett 5'11" | 205 lbs | LS Blue Valley | 2025 State KS from Blue Valley. On FG’s and Punt snaps he consistently was snapping the ball in the right areas. Punt snap times were mid to low .7 seconds range. He even showcased his coverage skills by snapping the ball then sprinting down in coverage. Playing LB in High School really showed as he was doing the coverage portion of the camp. Austin who is Senior right now is looking for a place to play. He has had some interest from Division 1 and Junior College schools. He has expressed he wouldn’t mind going to a Junior College for a year to develop more.
