The go-to target for Bluffton quarterback Owen Bayes Owen Bayes 6’3″ | 180 lbs | QB Bluffton | 2024 State SC , senior Brandon Bryant Brandon Bryant 5’11” | 165 lbs | WR Bluffton | 2024 State SC stepped up big-time to power the Bobcats to a 21-6 win over May River and clinch a playoff Berth. Bryant was unbeatable on the outside, making six receptions for 98 yards and a touchdown. His two scores came both on screen passes, using his swift quickness and elusiveness to race past defenders down the sideline with some extra muscle to power though at the end. He’s become a lethal playmaker in space who’s tough to slow down with the ball in his hands and should be the primary passing options for Bayes and the Bobcats going forward.

A dynamic and speedy athlete out wide for a high-powered Fort Dorchester offense, Mul-Ty Snider put up another impressive showing on Friday night. He had his way against West Ashley, catching eight passes for 116 yards and a touchdown. Snider can run quick and efficient routes downfield and is great at winning one-on-one jump balls or beating his defenders deep downfield. He’ll be a potent weapon for both quarterbacks Charles Watson and Bennett Riffer heading into the postseason.

With a number of elusive moves at his disposal and a relentless strength to plow through tacklers, Green has become a versatile workhorse running back who could be key for his team in a promising postseason run.
The Hanahan Hawks shocked Region VIII-3A with a stunning 37-34 win over unbeaten Philip Simmons, and it was thanks to the star-studded running of Kevon Rivera Kevon Rivera 5’9″ | 215 lbs | RB Hanahan | 2024 State SC . Meadows’ excellent play was noticeable, making 5.5 key tackles including a stop from behind the line of scrimmage. An athletic defender who can thrive in the secondary, Meadows is a persistent tackler who is terrific at pursuing plays and making textbook stops.
