The Patriot Pioneers took care of the visiting Osbourn Park this past Friday and a lot had to do behind Jackson Mccarter Jackson Mccarter 5’11” | 200 lbs | RB Patriot | 2025 VA ‘s historic night. Rushing for 6 count them again 6 touchdowns, McCarter set a single game school rushing record to keep the Pioneers up top of the Western District. We have been high on this young man’s talent for a minute, glad to see he is getting the recognition he deserves. Speaking of recognition, FBS schools are starting to notice as McCarter paid a visit to Virginia Tech the day after his record setting evening.

The Warhawks remained unbeaten in their thrilling victory over South County in Vienna last week 21-14. I told anyone who would listen this was game of the week and neither squad let me down. Linebacker Luke Jarvis Luke Jarvis 6’2″ | 210 lbs | LB James Madison | 2024 VA had a monster showing, accounting for 14 tackles, 4 TFLS and 4 sacks, what a night for the senior! I profiled him last winter and could tell then that his kid has the IT Factor, glad to see he had a great evening. As many know South County has a high powered offense with division 1 talent across the board, Jarvis and his teammates did a tremendous job all night limiting the Stallions to only 14 points. Jarvis is a division 1 prospect himself and was just recently visiting Navy, I expect more FBS schools to start calling very soon.

Kai Austin
Kai Austin
Do not look now but the Lake Braddock Bruins are rolling winners of 4 straight as they took care of Woodson this past week. Junior receiver Kai Austin had a big hand in the Bruins victory, hauling in 8 receptions for 133 yards and 1 touchdown, this kid continues to impress. This young man needs to be on your radar board the way he stretches the field on offense and makes plays after the catch. A fresh reminder to any coach he also has a 3.97 GPA!

Nick Harris
Nick Harris
South Lakes was once again on cruise control over Chantilly, and quarterback Nick Harris had a lot to do with that on a fantastic night for the young man. The senior was nearly perfect on every throw completing 22 of 23 passes and going over 300 yards through the air with 5 touchdowns! Finding three different targets for his touchdown throws, Harris is a major factor why you cant sleep on South Lakes anymore. A big matchup with Madison awaits on October 20th, that will determine if the Seahawks are ready to take the next step in their road to the playoffs.
