Today, we will be looking at some stockrisers in the state of Tennessee that should continue to impress as the season moves forward. Without any further ado, here’s my list of some stockrising performers from week seven of the season.
Highlights
At the top of my list of notable performers is Femi Babalola Femi Babalola 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Ravenwood | 2026 State TN , a 6-foot-2, 185-pound quarterback at Ravenwood High School. Babalola and the Raptors are coming off a 24-7 win over Summit this past week. In addition to excellent size and speed, Babalola impressed me with his ability to pick up yards on the ground and hit his receivers in stride on deep passes. Another aspect of Babalola’s playstyle that stood out last Friday was his composure and ability to get the ball out of his hands before getting hit by the defense. With great awareness and efficient accuracy in the air, Babalola is definitely not an offensive weapon to sleep on this season.

I am additionally impressed with Brenden Anes Brenden Anes 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Page | 2025 State TN , a 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker at Page High School. Anes and the Patriots defeated Lawson 50-0 last week. What stands out most about Anes is his physicality and defensive toughness, utilizing his footwork and wingspan to push off defenders and stop the run from along the edge. I also like how Anes utilizes his quick execution off the snap, blasting past the pocket to apply pressure on the quarterback and make sacks. Anes also impresses in the backfield, showcasing strong positioning and the ability to stop receivers down the stretch.
Claiming the number three spot on my list is Jawan Goins Jawan Goins 6'0" | 200 lbs | RB Clinton | 2024 State TN , a 6-foot-0, 185-pound running back at Clinton High School. Goins and the Dragons recently fell 28-14 to Anderson County. What impresses about Goins is his commanding athleticism and durable edge, proving he can juke out the defense with solid footwork and speed. Goins has also proved himself as an efficient playmaker in the pocket, barreling through the defense as he blasts into the backfield. I also like how Goins uses his movement from along the edge, showing off his ability to consistently beat the defense with his unmatched quickness and advance offensive production.

Another skilled prospect to keep an eye on is Austin Hoane Austin Hoane 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Cookeville | 2026 State TN , a 6-foot-4, 260-pound offensive lineman at Cookeville High School. Hoane and the Cavaliers escaped Gallatin by a final score of 26-23 last week. In addition to outstanding size, speed and quick execution off the snap, Hoane stands out due to his overall explosiveness and ability to consistently win matchups against the defense, absorbing pressure while utilizing his strength to blast the defensive line. Another aspect of Hoane’s playstyle that caught my attention was his ability to defer pressure in the pocket and open up the field for the run.

Coming in at number five on my list is Tyler Wilson Tyler Wilson 5'11" | 195 lbs | RB Lausanne | 2024 State TN , a 5-foot-11, 195-pound running back at Lausanne Collegiate High School. Wilson and the Lynx blasted past St. George’s 44-7 last week. Wilson stands out with his electric speed and ability to juke out defenders along the edge, proving he can handle contact and break tackles en route to the endzone. I’m additionally fond of how Wilson can read the defense and determine the best areas to slip into the backfield. Wilson’s ability to spin around the defense to break tackles and push the offense forward makes him a dangerous offensive weapon to left unchecked as he’s proved his reliability during third-down scenarios.
Also worth mentioning is Nate Fleming Nate Fleming 6'2" | 235 lbs | DL BGA | 2025 TN , a 6-foot-2, 225-pound defensive lineman at Battle Ground Academy. Fleming and the Wildcats fell short 34-33 to Pope John Paul II last week. Fleming is a strong defensive playmaker in the pocket as he can quickly blast the offense and stop the rush. Another aspect of Fleming’s game that stands out is his ability to read the offense like a book and utilize his precision to quickly strike and disrupt momentum. Fleming has also showcased excellent strength this season, consistently pushing the offense back behind the line of scrimmage for a loss of yards.
