#8 Oregon City @ #1 West Linn (WL -40)

West Linn is beating everyone by around 40 points, even without two of the state's top athletes in [player_tooltip player_id='152337' first='Wiley' last='Donnerberg'] and [player_tooltip player_id='312496' first='Hudson' last='Hardy']. They likely won't play a close game until the state championship, presumably against Central Catholic.

David Douglas @ #2 Central Catholic (CC -55)

Might want to cancel this..

#3 Tualatin @ #11 Tigard (TUAL -17)

[player_tooltip player_id='152355' first='AJ' last='Noland'] looked like one of the top QB's in the NW last week, hitting on 23/28 passes for 313 yards and 3 TDs. His overall athletic ability is ridiculous. With [player_tooltip player_id='152339' first='Jayden' last='Fortier'] having an MVP type season and the team in general playing really good ball, Tualatin has a chance to compete with almost anyone.

#4 Sherwood @ Liberty (SHER -27.5)

The Bowmen have put together one of the most impressive seasons in state history, outscoring their last eight opponents 310-0. It is true they don't play a TRL type schedule but to not give up a point in conference play is unheard of. Liberty has been playing good football so I would expect a score but............

#5 Lake Oswego @ #6 Lakeridge (LAKRDG -1)

Probably the game of the week. The teams are evenly matched with two of the top sophomore RBs on the west coast going head-to-head in [player_tooltip player_id='284119' first='Ansu' last='Sanoe'] and [player_tooltip player_id='402416' first='Lamarcus' last='Bell']. Overall, the Pacers have picked up their play and looked good in wins over Oregon City and Tigard. This will be a test for the Lakers who lost to Lakeridge last year 14-9.

#7 Jesuit @ Beaverton (JES -36.5)

Jesuit will win their 10th Metro League Title in a row, but this isn't the same team as in years past. The Beavers have one of the top young players in the state in [player_tooltip player_id='769925' first='Oliver' last='Luebkert'] but it's been tough overall. Last week's 40-33 loss to Westview was respectable.

West Salem @ #9 Sheldon (SHELD -17.5)

Look for West Salem to potentially be a top 10 team next season, with some of state's top young guys returning. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='769995' first='Evan' last='Wusstig'] has been off the charts good. Sheldon has been playing good ball winning their last 6, but I could see the Titans hanging around for a little bit.

North Salem @ #10 South Salem (S SAL -32)

North has dudes but they have been riddled with injuries, as noted in last week's 42-0 loss to West Salem. South has been consistent all year and should have a chance to compete in the playoffs.

#12 Nelson @ Gresham (NELS -27)

Nelson has played well all year with their only two losses coming to the #1 and #2 ranked teams in the state. Junior QB [player_tooltip player_id='285852' first='Avirey' last='Durdahl'] and a legit line give the Hawks a shot come playoff time.

South Medford @ #14 North Medford (NMED -4.5)

This should be a close football game with both teams at 6-2. Each features a good line with size and experience. North has been more consistent the 2nd half of the year, but South is dangerous with a bunch of young talent on the perimeter.

#15 Sunset @ Westview (SUNS -23.5)

Sunset is 4-4 with four close losses to teams ranked in the top 12 (Jesuit, Mountainside, Lakeridge, South Salem). They should handle a respectable Westview team who has gotten better each week, winning their last two.
