NW/W Report: Week 9 Standouts (Film)

<p>We take a look at some of the top stat performances from Week 9 around the NW/W Georgia Area. A lot of uncommitted Seniors in this Area that are ready to contribute on a college level. </p>   <p><strong>Toby Maddux-RB-'24 Trion</strong></p>   <p><strong>14 carries for 309 yards and 5 TDs</strong>: The 6'0 190 Senior is the total package. Outstanding work ethic on and off the field. 2x State Wrestling Champ. Gets it done in the Classroom sporting a 4.0 gpa for the #4 ranked and undefeated Trion Bulldogs. Take a look at his film. Long with a solid build and a good base. He gets off edge quick and has the speed to track from sideline to sideline. Good football IQ that gets himself in position to make plays. Plays for one of the best programs and staffs in the State for developing next level talent year in and year out. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/a_upshaw12/status/1705246256048574750 </div></figure>   <p><strong>Khristian Lando-RB/LB-'24 Cartersville</strong></p>   <p><strong>19 carries for 205 yards and 3 TDs:</strong> The 6'0 198 Lando has quietly gone about being one of the top RB prospects in the NW/W Ga Area. Physical guy that doesn't mind contact at the RB position or giving it at the LB spot. Titansports clocked his top speed this past Friday at 21.15 mph putting him in the Top 10 Nationally of the players they tested. Plays in the toughest 5A Region in the state and competes against D1 talent week in and week out. Has offers from Navy, Wofford, Georgia State and Coastal Carolina. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/landoOTP/status/1712243383673000429 </div></figure>   <p><strong>Braylon Sullivan-ATH-'24 Dade Co</strong></p>   <p><strong>278 all purpose yards and 3 TDs on 14 touches: </strong>The 6'2 185 Sullivan gets overlooked up there in the far corner of NW Ga. Athletic with a great frame that could carry more weight at the next level. Can play anywhere you need him, RB/SB/WR/SS. Clocked at a 4.6 in the 40 yard dash and holds the school record in the 100m, long jump, triple jump and 4x200 relay. </p>   <p> </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/BraylonSullivan/status/1563892174520991744 </div></figure>   <p><strong>Adriel Hernandez-RB-'24 Dalton</strong></p>   <p><strong>29 carries for 209 yards and 4 TDs. </strong>We have seen this 5'11 180 RB live twice this season and both times we walked away impressed. Workhorse with a high motor that runs with a chip on his shoulder. Elusive with good change of direction that when he finds an opening he hits it quick. Rarely leaves the field playing LB on defense. He has been a sparkplug for the Catamounts in what has been a good season for them in the highly competitive 5A Region. Definitely worth an evaluation. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Adrielbeast3/status/1655396678680100864 </div></figure>   <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='401553' first='Sam' last='Ross']-Ath-'26 Pepperell</strong></p>   <p><strong>Accounted for 301 total yards with 3 TDs while adding 7 tackles </strong>on the defensive side of the ball in an upset win over Darlington. At 5'9 175 he may not be your "traditional" QB but the guy is an athlete and a competitor. We have seen him in person twice this year and the Sophomore is tough as nails. Multisport guy that is no stranger to the weight room, hitting 255 PC as a Freshman. Was 2nd Team All Region DB last season and competed in the Georgia Elite Classic All Star game.
