Kyree Fisher Kyree Fisher 6’1″ | 180 lbs | QB Newark Tech | 2024 NJ is a straight up gunslinger for East Orange. The senior QB has led an impressive offensive unit this season, picking defenses apart with their aerial assault. As the leader of this team, Kyree has done everything he can to set his team up for success.
With 1826 passing yards and 12 touchdowns on the season, Kyree is a player that deserves more collegiate recognition. He has been a smart decision maker all season, as he threatens defense through the air and on the ground. As a passer, Kyree has a good sense of the pocket and keeps his eyes downfield as he moves around in it. If forced out of it, he is exceptionally good at making off platform throws. Where Kyree can be even more dangerous is when he decides to tuck it and run. He’s able to shake and bake in the backfield and dart off into open space, leaving defenders behind him.

Somerville’s Brenden Pacheco Brenden Pacheco 6’4″ | 195 lbs | QB Somerville | 2025 NJ is one of the top deep ball throwers in his class out of the state. He comes equipped with a strong arm that allows him to toss the deep ball with ease. Time and time again you will see him make 50+ yard throws look like nothing. He is also able to deliver a pass with a lot of zip on it, getting it to the receiver before a defender can get in the way. With 1415 yards and 13 touchdowns in 7 games, look for Brenden to inch close to the 2000 yard mark this season.
Lamar Best Lamar Best 6’0″ | 175 lbs | QB Willingboro | 2026 State NJ is the ultimate duel threat quarterback. With 22 touchdowns through the air and 8 on the ground, Lamar is a player defenses need to worry about in multiple ways. Lamar is tough to defend against given his mobility. Defenses need to worry about his scramble ability but also can’t overcommit to it. If they do, he will find an open receiver down field and throw a dart to them. He is deadly accurate and is very skilled in placing the ball over a receiver’s shoulder to keep it away from the defender. With 1450 passing yards and another 489 yards on the ground so far, look for Lamar to continue terrorizing defenses in the final few weeks of play.

Woodbridge’s Derek Anderson Derek Anderson 5’11” | 175 lbs | QB Woodbridge | 2025 State NJ has been lighting it up this season. With 17 touchdowns and 1359 yards through the air, Derek has really impressed us so far this fall. Derek is another NJ QB that teams need to worry when he tucks it and runs. He has the ability to read the defense and take off with it when an opportunity arises.
As a thrower, Derek has been very impressive with his arm strength and ability to get the ball to the sideline quickly. He has a quick release and can accurately throw on the run. Pay attention to how Derek handles zone coverage, he can easily dissect the defense, split the defenders, and find an open target.
The final player on this list is also the youngest. Jalen Parker Jalen Parker 5’9″ | 160 lbs | QB Winslow Township | 2027 State NJ has been having himself a freshman season. As the starting QB for Winslow, Jalen has been making defenders look silly with the ball in his hands. He is elusive in the pocket, and has the potential to be a deadly duel threat quarterback in the near future. With 1473 passing yards and 21 passing touchdowns so far this season, Jalen has impressive arm strength for his age and can out throw most players in the state. Offers as an ATH should be coming his direction very soon.
