Cameron Robinson Cameron Robinson 6'0" | 180 lbs | DB Norcross | 2024 GA – Mill Creek
The leading 2024 rusher right now in the 7A class, Robinson has been incredibly productive throughout his career and is having another dominant season this fall as a senior. A tough back who plays bigger than his 5-foot-9 195-pound frame, Robinson runs with balance, shows good footwork, burst, and a natural feel for the position. He’s reliable, breaks tackles, and has helped lead Mill Creek to an undefeated 7-0 season. He’s rushed for 1,043 yards so far this fall with 13 touchdowns. He’s rushed for a score in every game this season and has scored at least two touchdowns in five of his seven games. His best game came against Cedar Grove where he rushed for 219 yards and three touchdowns. He’s rushed for at least 180 yards in four games this season and hit the 200-yard mark three times so far. He’s a back to know in the playoffs as he hopes to lead Mill Creek to another 7A title.
Jayshawn Appling – South Gwinnett
A productive Gwinnett County back still flying under the radar, Appling has been one of the better backs in the area this year, and he’s lighting up the stat sheet. The 5-foot-9 185-pounder out of South Gwinnett has rushed for 791 yards so far this season with 11 touchdowns. He’s averaging an impressive 6.6 yards per carry and just under 100 yards a game. He breaks a lot of tackles and brings deceptive speed to the table. He’s rushed for at least 80 yards in every game this fall and has gone over the 100-yard mark three times. He’s also found the end-zone at least once in seven of his eight games this year. He’s one of the more reliable backs in the area and has really opened some eyes. His best game came in a 146-yard, two touchdowns performance against Dacula.
Jaden Dailey – Camden County
One of the more productive backs across South Georgia, Dailey’s breakaway speed has been on full display so far this season. The 5-foot-9 190-pounder has good vision, burst, and the ability to glide down the field. He’s tough to catch from behind and knows how to pick up yards after initial contact. He falls forward at the end of runs and has picked up plenty of yards so far as a senior. The Camden County back has rushed for 681 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, leading his team to a 6-2 record. He’s averaging an impressive 8.3 yards per carry and 85 yards a game. He’s gone over the 100-yard mark three different times and has scored multiple touchdowns in three games as well. He’s also rushed for a touchdown in six of his eight games this year. A reliable, dependable back, Dailey has really impressed in his final season this fall.
Jermome Newland – Mountain View
A breakout back in the 7A class this fall, Newland is a speedy back who knows how to hit the hole hard and take off for a big gain. At 5-foot-8 170-pounds, he’s not the biggest back out there, but he’s been one of the more productive backs in Gwinnett County this year. He sees the field well and does a good job of putting his foot in the ground and getting up the field in a hurry. He’s quick, eludes defenders and has become a real weapon in the Mountain View offense this year. The senior has rushed for 661 yards and nine touchdowns through his first six games of the season. He’s scored at least one touchdown in every game this season and has done it against some high-quality 7A defenses. He’s rushed for at least 100 yards in four of his six games this fall with his best game coming against Gainesville where he picked up 179 yards and scored two touchdowns.
