Herbert Ware Herbert Ware 6’4″ | 260 lbs | DL Green Valley | 2024 State NV is an underrated senior defender out of Henderson. Herbert has already received an offer to Colorado State-Pueblo this month, so don’t be surprised if more scholarships come in for the talented defender this fall. Herbert shows a good combination of lateral quickness and power pressuring the quarterback in a variety of ways. Herbert shows a good anchor and instincts stuffing runs in the backfield. Good closing speed and tackling ability get displayed pursuing ball carriers in the open field.

Marcus shows good range, effort, and athleticism in pursuit of ball carriers in the open field. Good acceleration and quickness get displayed using speed moves to pressure the quarterback from the inside of the pocket. Good strength in his shed and ability to find the ball quickly highlight Marcus’ ability to be a versatile run defender at the next level. Eliah Logo Eliah Logo 6’1″ | 295 lbs | DL Liberty | 2025 State NV has been dominating his first season in Nevada. Eliah finds the ball well and shows his good instincts quickly identifying screen passes as a pass rusher. Fast hands, good lateral quickness, and acceleration shown pressuring the quarterback highlight Eliah’s ability to pressure the pocket with speed at the next level. Eliah’s solid anchor and good range in the run game allow him to play multiple interior positions in college. Eliah has received interest from Duke this season so don’t be surprised when his list of four offers grows longer this fall.
Christian Thatcher Christian Thatcher 6’2″ | 200 lbs | LB Arbor View | 2025 State NV is one of the most heavily recruited defenders in the state. Christian received a flurry of offers before this season and should be solidified as a top linebacker prospect in the region well before his senior year gets here. Christian’s rare combination of size, speed, and power jumps off the tape as he chases down outside runs behind the line of scrimmage with ease. Good length and strength shows stunning blockers in the run box with one punch. Christian’s ability to rush the passer and produce on special teams highlights his ability to contribute in numerous ways at the next level.
Alijah Carnell Alijah Carnell 6’5″ | 290 lbs | DL Bishop Gorman | 2024 State NV is one of the best 2024 defensive line recruits inside and out of Clark County. Alijah received a scholarship from Kansas State just last month, so be on the lookout for more offers to come in before the season ends. Alijah’s size, strength in his shed, and closing speed shown in run defense highlight his ability to be a versatile interior defender in college. Good length and athletic ability shows consistently batting balls down at the line of scrimmage. Coaches like Alijah’s ability to pressure the pocket with either speed or power.
