Last night, I stopped by Christ Presbyterian Academy to watch the Lions take on Antioch. From the opening snap, it was all CPA as the Lions cruised to a 52-14 win.

CPA is loaded with division-one talent and are no-brainer state championship contenders. Antioch is a young team with some bright spots and is only going to get better over the next few seasons. Today, I'm looking at some of the top hidden gems on each team's roster. These guys may not have extensive offer lists, but they do have plenty of potential for the next level.

CPA

TE: Leroy Harris III, 6'5" 215, 2024

Harris is a physically imposing prospect with natural hands, a huge catch radius, and nifty balance after the catch. He's got a frame he can easily pack another thirty-five pounds on and is still developing as a tight-end prospect. A lot of schools are recruiting him as an outside linebacker, but I think if he can show that he can block inline, more schools are going to come calling for him at tight end.

OL: [player_tooltip player_id='881424' first='Brady' last='Smith'] 6'2" 260, 2025

Brady is a tough interior prospect that plays through the whistle. He competes with good leverage, he strikes on a rise and gets plenty of steps in the ground as a run blocker. I love this kid's mentality and that he plays with a chip on his shoulder.

RB: Reagan McCluskey, 5'10" 195, 2025

Reagan is committed to Dallas Baptist to play baseball but has upside on the football field as well. He runs with good forward body lean, he's patient, he knows how to alter his rush tempo, and has the speed to run away from a defense.

RB: Josh Mayernick, 5'8" 175, 2024

Josh opened the game with two long touchdown runs for CPA. He's got easy change of direction, vision to spot cutback lanes, instant acceleration, and a downhill running style to cap-off runs.

LB: Eli Dickey, 6'3" 215, 2026

Dickey played on both sides of the ball, but I think I liked him more at inside linebacker. He's got good size, takes quality angles to the tackle, shows a quick trigger, good eye discipline, and speeds his feet on contact.

Antioch

QB: Andre Adams, 6'2" 170, 2027

Adams is going to develop into a nice quarterback prospect over the next few seasons. This kid is composed regardless of what's going on around him, he's got well-oiled mechanics and can place the football into tight windows. He'll take off if nothing presents itself downfield and plays with a quiet confidence.

WR: Brandon Goliday, 5'11" 165, 2026

A wideout who doubles as a returner with good speed, some wiggle, and is a pretty developed route runner at an early stage of his career.

OL: Justin Lado, 6'4" 230, 2025

Justin needs to add size in the weight room this off-season, but I do like his upside. He's got good vertical stature at 6'4" and shows quick feet, determination, & the ability to drive down defenders off the football as a 1 on 1 blocker.
