Chelsea vs Trenton Standout Players

This was an incredible comeback by <strong>Chelsea</strong> as they came back to win this game after trailing 14-3 with just under 4 minutes left in the game. <strong>Chelsea</strong> recovereda an onside kick just with under 2 minutes left in the game. They would kick a field goal on that drive a send the game to overtime. <strong>Chelsea </strong>got a field goal in overtime after getting a stop on <strong>Trenton's </strong>offensive possession. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Regan Plank | LB/WR | Chelsea</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Plank had a key interception late in the 2nd quarter. Plank had a great catch on the sideline to convert a 4th down late in the 4th quarter. Plank is just a great all-around football player. He is a guy that if you went to a <strong>Chelsea</strong> football game not knowing any players on the team, <strong>Regan Plank</strong> would be a guy you would remember. Plank is a guy who will be critical to <strong>Chelsea</strong> making a playoff run. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Max Herter | WR | Chelsea</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Herter is a very talented receiver. He made an excellent catch against tight coverage early in the 3rd quarter. Herter does a great job of getting open and has very good hands. I love his competitiveness and ability to make a catch while taking a hit. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1467685' first='Ashton' last='Rooney'] | RB/DB | Trenton</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rooney had an excellent run in the middle of the 3rd quarter. He he has good burst and changes direction well. Rooney scored a touchdown at the start of the 4th quarter to make the score 7-3. Rooney is a physical runner. Rooney played well defensively also. He is a good tackler who is always flying to make plays. The <strong>Trenton </strong>offense really got rolling when Rooney was running the ball effectively early in the 2nd half. <br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Drew Carson | RB | Trenton </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Carson had a physical touchdown run with just over 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Carson is a physical runner who does not go down easily. Carson is a good complement to this offense with his tough running. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Luke Anstead | QB | Chelsea </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Anstead had an outstanding touchdown run with just less than 2 minutes in the 4th quarter remaining. Anstead hit <strong>JJ Turnbow</strong> with just over a minute left in the 4th quarter to put <strong>Chelsea</strong> deep in <strong>Trenton</strong> territory. Anstead was so clutch late in this game. He was so composed and played a key part in getting his team to rally back.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>JJ Turnbow | WR | Chelsea </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Turnbow had a great game. He made several great catches late that helped to put <strong>Chelsea</strong> back in the game. He is a physical tackler who <strong>Trenton </strong>tried to avoid running at. Anstead is playing center this year on offense and really excelling in this role. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Tyson Hill | RB | Chelsea </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hill ran the ball well for <strong>Chelsea</strong>. He had a key 2-point conversion late in the game that cut <strong>Trenton's </strong>lead to just 3. Hill has been a standout player for <strong>Chelsea</strong> the past couple of seasons and will continue to be this season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
