5A Mid-Willamette Conference Week 7 Preview

We now have a better understanding of which teams are genuinely talented, which teams may have had a stroke of luck in the first few weeks, and which teams are looking to improve for next season. I will provide a preview for each game in week 7 by conference for the 5A level. The Mid-Willamette Conference is up next. Each game will include a prediction and highlight some players from each team to watch based on their recent performances.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#10 McKay (5-1) @ #2 Silverton (6-0)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Prediction:</strong> Silverton def. McKay 38-14.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McKay has been a pleasant surprise in the early part of the season. However, the next three weeks will be challenging for them. They are scheduled to play Silverton this week, West Albany the next week, and Lebanon in the following week, who they barely beat in week 1. The victory was a remarkable achievement for the team and coaches, especially since West Albany is a title contender this season. However, I don't think they have shown enough this season for me to predict they defeat a strong Dallas squad this week.
