2025 Rankings Zone Read: Catawba River Region New Additions

The updated 2025 rankings were released last week and there were four guys that made their way into them from the Catawba River. Let's take a look at who they are and what they bring to the table:   [player_tooltip player_id='1012611' first='Fred' last='Reese'] | DB | South Pointe    Reese has all of the tools that you need to be successful at the secondary position. He tracks the ball well in coverage and can stay in stride with his receivers. He has great eye discipline and short to intermediate throws will not work well when you go up against him. His involvement on defense does not go unnoticed – he has 32 tackles and 1 INT. And colleges have noticed. He currently holds an offer from Virginia Tech.     [player_tooltip player_id='1012627' first='Landon' last='Stone'] | RB | Clover   Stone (pictured above) has quickly established himself as one of the best running backs in the region. The scheme that the Blue Eagles run allows him to thrive. They use him on counter plays frequently and he has the vision to find the green grass and explode for a 10 to 15 yard gain. He can break through arm tackles and holds on to the ball. He has run for 1090 yards and 7 touchdowns so far in 2023.    [player_tooltip player_id='1012612' first='Aidan' last='Turner'] | RB | South Pointe   Turner is a downhill running back with a great combo of speed and power at the position. With 436 yards on the year, he has good vision to find the open lane and then make plays when they present themselves. The Stallions use him in the inside running game mainly but he can change direction and make people miss.     [player_tooltip player_id='1012834' first='Malik' last='Clark'] | WR | Rock Hill   Clark is a home run hitter every time the ball is in his hands. He is a great route runner, whether it's a throw to the corner for a touchdown with a defender draped over him or a vertical route where he can show off his world class speed. He can also make a difference on defense, particularly at defensive back. Colleges have taken notice as well as he has offers from East Carolina, App State, Liberty and Georgia Southern.
