Aakil Brown Aakil Brown 5'10" | 200 lbs | LB South Pointe | 2025 State SC | LB | South Pointe
Brown lined up at the outside linebacker spot and when the ball came his way, it was difficult for Chester to run the ball in the Stallions’ 31-0 shutout win on Friday. He took great pursuit angles. There was one play where the Cyclones tried to run a reverse and he showed good eye discipline to stay in the right place to make a sure tackle. Chris Dixon Chris Dixon 6'2" | 260 lbs | DL South Pointe | 2024 State SC had 3 sacks to go along with a dominant night for the Stallions defensively.
Brody Rowan Brody Rowan 6'2" | 235 lbs | DL Clover | 2025 State SC | LB | Clover
Rowan has been all in the offensive backfield the first few weeks, and Friday night was no exception in the Blue Eagles’ 21-14 win over York. There were multiple times where he beat the tackle off the ball with his quickness. He can pursue plays from behind, like he did on a screen pass. He has a motor that is always running. Don’t forget about Jayden Bryant Jayden Bryant 6'4" | 215 lbs | DL Clover | 2024 State SC who had 10 tackles, 2 TFLs and 1 sack.
Ian Grissom Ian Grissom 6'1" | 160 lbs | QB Rock Hill | 2025 State SC | QB | Lewisville
Grissom and Lewisville have been on a tear the first few weeks. Since the season opening loss to Oceanside Collegiate, the Lions have averaged 56.6 points per game. He may have put up his best game so far with a 63-0 win over Blacksburg on Friday. The junior went 17-of-19 for 453 yards and 6 touchdowns. That’s not a typo. He made beautiful throws to the end zone and can make plays with his feet as well – he eluded defenders on a long run.
Hayden Morris Hayden Morris 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Ridge View | 2026 State SC | WR | Indian Land
Morris was the go-to target for Jaxon Schiedt in the Warriors’ 32-7 win over Fort Mill. He beat his man in one-on-one coverage and made the tough catches near the back of the end zone. He can go catch the ball at its highest point.
Mason Grier | DL | Northwestern
Grier (pictured above) was the leading tackler for the Trojans in their 52-0 shutout of Nation Ford on Friday. He had 6 tackles for loss and was a part of a Northwestern defense that held the Falcons to 12 yards rushing.
Matthew Wilson Matthew Wilson 6'1" | 200 lbs | QB Rock Hill | 2024 State SC | QB | Rock Hill
Wilson ran for two rushing touchdowns of 12 yards and 17 yards. The App State commit also connected on a 17-yard TD throw to EJ Ratley, who is one of his favorite targets here in the early part of the season.
