Darriyarn Baxley Darriyarn Baxley 5'10" | 165 lbs | LB Chester | 2026 State SC | LB | Chester
Baxley was all over the field during Chester’s 24-0 win over Fairfield Central on Friday. He did a great job getting penetration against the Griffins’ offensive line. He made some impressive tackles, including a great hit on the out route in the first quarter.
Elijah Coleman Elijah Coleman 5'9" | 200 lbs | RB Clover | 2024 State SC | RB | Chester
Coleman’s physical running style was on display in the Cyclones’ win over Fairfield Central. He is patient enough to wait for the holes to open and then he explodes to turn plays into a 10 to 15 yard pick up. He scored a touchdown in the third quarter.
Justice Foster Justice Foster 6'2" | 285 lbs | DL Rock Hill | 2025 State SC | DL | Rock Hill
Foster (pictured above) may not get to the quarterback all the time for the sack, but he’ll certainly make his presence felt. There were several times in the Bearcats’ 36-16 win over Lancaster on Friday that he used his speed and power at the nose guard position to overpower offensive lineman and affect the throw to where defenders can make the interception.
Triston Barnett | QB | York
Barnett has established himself as a dual-threat here in the early part of non-region play and that continued in the Cougars’ 38-14 win over Union County. He can find the open running lane and he’s quicker than people probably want to give him credit for. He had over 100+ rushing yards. In the passing game, he showed an ability to make plays on play action. He also found his receivers open on routes to the sideline, which you can expect to continue.
Debo Hall Debo Hall 5'11" | 185 lbs | DB York | 2024 State SC | DB | York
Hall patrols the field like a center fielder, like we saw watching his film in York’s win over Union County. Once he catches it, he doesn’t waste time trying to make people miss. He gets up field quickly to set up his offense in a good position. He can come up and make tackles against the run and move sideline to sideline.
EJ Ratley | WR | Rock Hill
Ratley is quickly turning into a dynamic skill weapon for the Bearcats’ offense. He can turn a jet sweep into a couple of quick, easy yards. This past Friday against Lancaster, they used him on an option play with Matthew Wilson Matthew Wilson 6'1" | 200 lbs | QB Rock Hill | 2024 State SC to the three receiver side for a touchdown, where the timing was right. He can also beat you vertically as he scored on a play where he was wide open.
