Carlton Brannon - Turner County

A senior quarterback who is throwing the ball really well to start the season, Brannon is a small-town quarterback flying under the radar with the season he's having. The 6-foot-0 190-pounder has thrown for 1,321 yards so far this season with 15 touchdown passes. He does have six INTs, but he's a guy who is going to sling it around. He throws the ball with confidence, and more often tha not, good things happen when he's attempting to make a big throw. He throws the ball with nice touch down the field and knows how to lead an offense. He's thrown for over 200 yards in every game this season and has thrown for three touchdowns in every game. His best game came in a week one win over Worth County where he threw for 347 yards and three touchdowns. He shows good footwork in the pocket, above-average athleticism, and impressive arm talent. He's a quarterback to know about for the rest of the fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='325151' first='Neko' last='Fann'] - Colquitt County

There are lots of reasons why the Colquitt County Packers might be the best overall program in South Georgia. They have weapons, an outstanding coaching staff, a passionate community, and rich tradition, and plenty of resources. They also have one of the best quarterbacks in South Georgia in [player_tooltip player_id='325151' first='Neko' last='Fann']. He's not a very big quarterback, but he does bring a big arm to the table. He's smart, mobile, and does a great job of distributing the ball to all of his weapons. He knows where to go with the ball, makes good decisions, and throws the ball accurately when stretching the field vertically. Fann has thrown for 937 yards so far this year along with 14 touchdowns and just two INTs. He's thrown for at least 200 yards in every game and hasn't thrown an interception in his last three games. His best game came against Tift County where he threw for 269 yards and five touchdowns. He's led the PAckers to an impressive 4-0 record with eyes set on a 7A championship this year.

Christopher “CJ” Garrett, Jr. - Bradwell Institute

Bradwell might be off to a slow start to the season, but it's not due to the play of their quarterback, CJ Garrett. His completion % could be a little better at just 60%, but he's been throwing for big yards the last two games. He can push the ball down the field and pick up big yards in a hurry. He moves well in the pocket, shows mobility, and throws a catchable ball. He sees the field well, understands his job, and brings playmaking ability. He threw for 256 yards in week one, 127 yards in week two, 368 yards in week three, and 367 yards in week four. In total, the South Georgia quarterback has thrown for 1,118 yards and nine touchdowns so far this year. He's beeen one of the most productive quarterbacks in the area and doesn't appear to be slowing down.
