Jacob Tuttle Jacob Tuttle 6'1" | 175 lbs | QB Notre Dame Prep | 2024 State MI | ND Prep | 2024
Stats: 16/19, 295yds, 5TDs, 158.3 Rating
This is the best game I’ve ever seen from Jacob Tuttle Jacob Tuttle 6'1" | 175 lbs | QB Notre Dame Prep | 2024 State MI . The stats truly speak for themselves. 84.2% completion alongside 5TDs and nearly 300yds passing is a near-perfect statline. Looking at the film, you can tell that Jacob is an experienced QB who’s ready to take the next step in college. The first pass in the highlights below shows an awesome 20-yard touch pass for a TD. His second throw shows an insanely accurate ball on the sidelines, throwing a dart to the comeback/curl route at the sticks. The rest of his film shows a few throws on the run / off balance, more attacking the middle of the field, some passes to the flats. Incredible performance from Jacob!
Devvin Calhoun Devvin Calhoun 6'3" | 185 lbs | ATH Canton | 2025 State MI | Canton | 2025
Stats: 274 Yds, 4TDs, 75% comp
Devvin has some fun film here. He picked Howell apart with his strong arm and he always put the ball in a position where his receiver had a chance. It’s not always easy switching your game to a completely new offensive scheme, but it seems like Canton is taking the change in stride. I like the highlight variation as well, as Devvin is seen throwing to all parts of the field. Keep up this kind of reliability and Canton can make some noise this year!
Ryland Watters Ryland Watters 6'2" | 205 lbs | ATH Rochester Adams | 2026 State MI | Rochester Adams | 2025
Stats: 10/14, 154yds, 1TD, 18 carries, 101yds, 1TD
I was surprised to hear that Adams smacked rival Rochester, and I was more surprised to see Ryland threw the ball 14 times! Running the Veer offense, most teams will only elect to pass the ball a few times per game. Seeing that Ryland had that kind of passing production tells me that Adams truly trusts Ryland with the ball. I love his quick flick of the wrist throwing motion, and he was quite accurate with his passes as well. He has a great throw while being drilled, and several plays where you can tell he’s not locking onto one guy – he’s making reads. Quick reads, passes to all parts of the field, a more pro-style offense than I’m used to with Adams. Ryland has had a great start to the season, and I’m truly looking forward to his play in the OAA Red!
Dracyn Foster Dracyn Foster 5'9" | 155 lbs | QB Coldwater | 2027 State MI | Coldwater | 2027
Stats: 13/16, 175, 3TDs
Moving onto Coldwater, we find a truly under the radar Quarterback. The stats you see above are obviously great stats, and he shows some promise on several throws. Dracyn has multiple deep throws to the endzone that give the receiver a chance to make a play. His first highlight at the 10-second mark is particularly very accurate. I currently do not view Dracyn as a college prospect, he’s just a freshman and has plenty of time to improve his game! Nice foundation that can turn into something special.
Zak Olejniczak Zak Olejniczak 6'1" | 175 lbs | QB Lapeer | 2024 State MI | Lapeer | 2024
2-week Stats: 30/53, 496yds, 5TDs, 26 carries, 126yds, 3TDs
This may be cheating, but I’ll be going over Zak’s first two weeks of the regular season. Zak has gained a ton of traction following his amazing 2023 offseason, and he’s carried it over into the season. To begin the season, Zak picked apart a good AA Huron defense, leading the Lightning to a 40-13 victory. The biggest draw to Zak’s game is the incredible deep ball. I’ve seen it in person; and it’s as good there as it is on film. He’s able to launch the ball 40+ yards downfield while remaining accurate. He’s also skilled with rollouts, and has great power on his short-intermediate throws. I don’t think I have to sell many people on Zak anymore, but I still wanted to shout him out for two great weeks.
