An excellent athlete and one of the more underrated playmakers in Cherokee County for the 2025 class, Mahoney is a dual-threat quarterback who has been running wild so far as a junior in 2023. Mahoney is a multi-year starter and has come out strong in September, leading Etowah to a 3-0 start to the season through three games. In total, Mahoney has thrown for 274 yards while rushing for 357 yards. He's thrown two touchdowns as a passer, but most of his scoring has come on the ground. In week three, Mahoney rushed for an eye-opening 213 yards and four touchdowns. He was tough to handle due to his burst, overall speed, and his ability to elude defenders. He's been a scoring machine this year, and he's making it happen through the air and on the ground. Without a doubt a 2025 athlete on the rise.

One of the most productive running backs in the Athens are this fall, Spurlin is a powerful, tackle-breaking back that has found the end-zone early and often this year. A two-way player who can also line up at linebacker, Spurlin is a heavy back at 6-foot-3 240-pounds who knows how to bulldoze defenders. He also rushed for two touchdowns to start the season in week one and two. He's running like a bowling ball and will likely continue finding the end-zone more and more as his senior season progresses.

One of the top overall prospects in the country, Brown is a dynamic two-way player who runs through defenses at running back, and crushed the ball-carrier at linebacker. An elite athlete who excels in everything he does, Brown is a current Clemson Tiger commitment who has had a brilliant high school career so far. A bigger back with plenty of speed, Brown has rushed for 303 yards through his first three games with 8 rushing touchdowns. He ran for 90 yards and four touchdowns in week one, 127 yards and two touchdowns in week two, and ran for 86 yards and two more touchdowns in week three. All while averaging over 10 tackles a gamer on defense.
[player_tooltip player_id='321422' first='Ny' last='Carr'] - Colquitt County

One of the state's top overall prospect, [player_tooltip player_id='321422' first='Ny' last='Carr'] has been unstoppable so far this year as a senior. An electric wide receiver who leads the state in receiving touchdowns, Carr is one of the top wideouts across the South, and possibly the country, in the 2024 class. His speed, hands, route-running, and overall playmaking ability have led him to a dominant start to kick off the 2023 season. In game one, Carr caught seven passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns in a 48-17 win over Dutch Fork (SC). In week two, Carr was even better, catching 11 passes for 152 yards and four touchdowns. Then in week three, Carr caught five passes against Tift County for 88 yards and two more touchdowns. He's scoring with ease and could lead the state in receiving touchdowns by the end of the season. This future Georgia Bulldog has been fun to watch early on this season.
