He is a smooth corner with good feet in transition, breaks quickly to ball carriers and takes good angles in the open field while able to bring a nice pop at the POA. He has a knack for baiting quarterbacks into bad throws and jumps routes quickly with good ball skills and physical hands at the POA. He went off this weekend, totaling 15 tackles, 5 tackles for loss and multiple quarterback hurries as he was unblockable off the edge for ACP. He totaled 20+ tackles, 2 sacks and a fumble recovery, while unblockable applying pressure from various angles and making plays in the backfield all night. He is a disruptive pass rusher when needed and has good closing speed and explodes through contact at the POA, taking on blockers and able to navigate in the box without giving up ground. Smith is a no brainer next level kid at the third level and should continue gathering college interest at the D-II+ level through his final season. The Senior already has one offer from Rocky Mountain, and it would not be surpsising if he gathers a few more as we draw closer to National Signing Day. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
