Sylus Stevenson Sylus Stevenson 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB Apollo | 2025 State AZ , QB, Apollo ’25
Stevenson played a great game and his name should definitely be put on the map now as he went toe to toe with a top prospect. He went 15/25 for 297 yards and 2 TD’s and added 27 yards on the ground. H had numerous throws where he flashed good timing and placement with the ball, finessing throws over and in between opponents. A very impressive showing for the Jr. QB who should continue to make plays.
Luke Moga Luke Moga 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Sunnyslope | 2024 State AZ , QB, Sunnyslope ’24
The Oregon commit ended up leading his squad to a close 38-33 victory, and did so by throwing for 245 yards and 4 TD’s. Moga finished the night 13/24 and showcased a ton of competitive toughness. He’ll enter every game with a target on his back being that top prospect, and it didn’t seem to rattle him one bit this past week. He plays with a ton of confidence and shows that “It Factor” with a ton of command and all of the tools in the box.
Adam Mohammed Adam Mohammed 6'0" | 180 lbs | RB Apollo | 2024 State AZ , RB, Apollo ’24
The speedy back picked up 111 yards and 2 TD’s on 19 carries. He also recorded 3 receptions for 91 yards, and showcased that big play ability. His speed and change of direction combined with his vision makes him extremely lethal, as he’s always prone for a few big plays every game. He exploded onto the scene a year and and drew some attention his way, and he continues to progress and flash promising ability moving forward. Arizona is getting an absolute gem with this kid.
Mack Kump Mack Kump 5'10" | 175 lbs | WR Sunnyslope | 2025 State AZ , WR, Sunnyslope ’25
Kump was the main target and leading receiver for Sunnyslope, as Moga found him 4 times for 82 yards and a TD. He does a great job in the slot and shows toughness to frequently go across the middle despite anticpating a hit. He had the most explosive playoff the night where he caught a slant, was able to shake off two tackles and take it about 73 yards the house. Solid player on both sides of the ball for SHS, and I imagine he’ll continue to see a large volume of targets moving forward.
Aleck Vargas, RB, Sunnyslope ’25/John Sing, RB, Sunnyslope ’24
The 1-2 punch for Sunnyslope was solid between Vargas and fellow RB John Sing, as they picked up over 140 yards rushing between the two of them. Vargas carried the rock 10 times for 73 yards and a TD, while Sing rushed for 78 yards on 11 carries, and also added about a 37 yard reception. Having the balance of these two Back’s was definitely a difference maker that helped Sunnyslope get the job done. Both did a great job making the most out of their opportunities while opening up the offense a bit for SHS.
