08/31: Victor vs Rush Henrietta
It was quite the beat down as Victor High School hosted Rush Henrietta High School for the season opener which was the Teddi Bowl in support of Camp Good Days. Victor walked away with the win with a final score of 41-14. Some of the key players in the game included Nasir Patton Nasir Patton 6'1" | 175 lbs | ATH Rush-Henrietta | 2024 State NY , Adam Ruffalo Adam Ruffalo 5'11" | 160 lbs | ATH Victor | 2024 State NY , Nick Leonard Nick Leonard 6'4" | 235 lbs | DL Victor | 2024 State NY , and Drevariis Yeomas who had three rushing touchdowns on the day! Yeomas was able to show off his speed and ability to get outside the tackles for one of his rushing TDs. Ruffalo again, was able to show off his tremendous athletic ability, even diving at the end zone with two Rush Henrietta defenders nipping at his heels. One of those Rush Henrietta defenders that was going at Ruffalo all game, was Nasir Patton Nasir Patton 6'1" | 175 lbs | ATH Rush-Henrietta | 2024 State NY . What was fun to see was Patton was able to put a few moves on Ruffalo when he was on the offensive side of the ball. It was a great battle between Ruffalo and Patton who both are very talented players. When it came to Nick Leonard Nick Leonard 6'4" | 235 lbs | DL Victor | 2024 State NY , he was able to make an impact on both sides of the football. The one play that stood out to me the most was when Leonard was able to run over a defender to keep the chains moving.

Being able to make lanes for Parks and giving Martinovich time to find his receivers was Val Kondratenko Val Kondratenko 6'5" | 240 lbs | OL Brighton | 2024 State NY . Kondratenko was also able to contribute to stuffing the run and getting after the QB on the defensive side. The blocks in both the passing and running game; including a lot of times when Val was able to swing out into space to create a lane for Parks was outstanding to see. Below you will see the highlight tape that Kondratenko did upload on his Hudl.
