Cotton is a big target from Grenada that can carry his own on the field. He has the ability to make catches and break through arm tackles. He has the speed to be a guy that gets yards after the catch. Cotton also has great hands. He is not a guy that is going to be out there making a lot of body catches. Cotton is new to the scene, but I think he will see himself rise through the ranks very quickly. He is a 6-foot-4, 190-pound receiver that has good speed. He is a guy that is going to be a hard guy to tackle once he gets to rolling. Especially for smaller defensive backs.
When I was able to see Howard in person for the first time I was highly impressed with the twitch that he has. Howard is a threat to break loose every time that he touches the football. Howard is going to be a big impact on his team this season. He could be a better route runner, but he knows how to get loose and get separation. Howard also looks good on the defensive side of the ball. He has the good hips that a defensive back needs. Howard also is a skilled tackler who never catches himself in a bad position making a tackle. I like this kid a lot.
Durr has started the 2023 season off with a bang. Durr has become a more accurate passer than he was last season. He has a strong arm that can make any throw his coaches needs him to make. Durr is very poised when he is in the pocket. I noticed that he keeps his feet moving when he processes through his reads. Durr also does a great job of extending plays. I wouldn’t consider him a dual threat QB, but he gets the job done with his feet.
Jykavius Riddle
Riddle is a 6-foot-3, 175-pound athlete out of Noxapater (Miss). After talking with his coach, he thinks that Riddle is going to grow to be a safety. I can agree with that. He has a 76 inch wingspan and he also has some good ball skills. He isn’t the fastest guy in a 40-yard dash, but his 4.6 gets the job done on the field. Riddle has the ‘want to’ that kids need to be successful. He is a guy that is going to have to be trained up more, but he could also grow to be a tight end or outside linebacker. Riddle is nowhere near growing. His dad was an offensive lineman in high school, and he is about 6-foot-4, 270 pounds.
