[player_tooltip player_id='152338' first='Kenen' last='Elder'] CB 24' Tualatin / [player_tooltip player_id='152339' first='Jayden' last='Fortier'] TE/OLB 24' Tualatin- Elder, one of the state's most versatile athletes, had two clutch INTs for Tualatin. Credit to Portland St for getting on him when they did. Thus far, Fortier looks like the overall 6A MVP, rushing for 2 TDs with an INT in the 22-13 win over #1 5A Wilsonville.

[player_tooltip player_id='285874' first='Nick' last='Crowley'] ATH 25' Wilsonville/ [player_tooltip player_id='511864' first='Mark' last='Wiepert'] ATH 25' Wilsonville- Both Junior's project as 1st team all-state athletes at the 5A level, with Crowley catching 9 passes for 142 yards and the Oregon St baseball commit Wiepert grabbing 4 balls for 86 yards. They have been equally impressive on D.

[player_tooltip player_id='511860' first='Max' last='Nowlin'] QB 25' Scappoose- Definitely one of the most impressive stat lines of the year came via the 6-4 Jr. QB, who was 45/60 for 490 yards and 5 TDs with 0 INTs, in the team's 41-21 win over Hood River. Nowlin has a stock which continues to rise.

[player_tooltip player_id='285866' first='Liam' last='Davis'] QB 25' Lake Oswego- Davis continues to look like one of the top players in Oregon week after week. The Junior QB went 15/24 for 226 Yards and 4 TDs, a week after accounting for 6 TDs (3 rushing, 3 passing). The talented overall athlete has yet to throw an INT this year for a Lakers team that is 3-0 and ranked #3.

[player_tooltip player_id='1059015' first='Justin' last='Craigwell'] RB 26' Sunset/ [player_tooltip player_id='278374' first='Blake' last='Hurley'] ATH 24' Sunset- Hurley looks like a Metro League POY favorite through three weeks, returning a punt 54 yards for a TD in the impressive 54-19 win over Liberty. The Sophomore Craigwell had a breakout performance rushing for 3 first half TDs and returning a kick 60 yards for a touchdown.

[player_tooltip player_id='152344' first='Hunter' last='Haines'] S 24' West Linn- Maybe the fastest rising 2024 prospect in the state with his recent sub 4.4 laser time. Haines locked everything down in the secondary and had a nice INT, a week after getting in the mix offensively and catching a touchdown.

Sherwood D- The Bowmen have pitched back-to-back shutouts against decent competition, looking like one of the top defenses in the NW. The victories over reigning 5A state champ Summit and Clackamas have been led by the likes of returning conference POY [player_tooltip player_id='278441' first='Keaten' last='Fried'], Jr. LB [player_tooltip player_id='766200' first='Treyson' last='Eddleman'], and one of the state's best safeties in [player_tooltip player_id='511301' first='Evan' last='Morris'].

[player_tooltip player_id='406763' first='Noah' last='Blair'] QB 25' Thurston/ [player_tooltip player_id='738767' first='Walker' last='Bonar'] WR 24' Thurston/ [player_tooltip player_id='209500' first='Luke' last='Newell'] WR 24' Thurston- Blair backed up the hype from his sophomore season, tossing 6 TD's, with four of them going to the 1st team all-league returner Bonar. Newell did his catching 2 TDs with an INT return for a touchdown as well, in the 48-14 win over North Eugene.

[player_tooltip player_id='402395' first='Braxton' last='Singleton'] WR 26' North Salem/ [player_tooltip player_id='206869' first='Jamahl' last='Wilson'] RB 24' North Salem- Look for Singleton to be ranked one of the top receivers on the west coast and potentially the nation for his class. The Vikings don't really pass the ball so that's an issue, but he did have 2 receptions for 92 yards and 2 TDs (64,28) in the 39-13 win over Roseburg. The talented transfer from McKay HS Wilson, rushed 17 times for 207 yards and 2 touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='285868' first='Danny' last='Wideman'] ATH 25' West Linn/ [player_tooltip player_id='406774' first='Baird' last='Gilroy'] QB 25' West Linn- As noted Wideman is playing as well as any underclassmen in Oregon, adding another 151 receiving yards and 2 TDs (74). Him and Gilroy have played together since childhood and have a special connection on the field. Baird has the potential of being the state's top ranked QB for the class, passing for 216 yards and another 4 touchdowns, in the 43-14 win over Jesuit.

[player_tooltip player_id='613489' first='Cameron' last='Nix'] WLB 25' North Medford- Nix was one of Oregon's breakout sophomore's a year ago, and continues to thrive, coming up clutch with 1 INT, 1 PBU, and 3 tackles, in the teams 33-12 win over a decent West Salem team. Him and [player_tooltip player_id='287053' first='Trey' last='Kennedy Coleman'] give North an elite one-two punch on D, with both athletes returning next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='153309' first='Jackson' last='L Babbitt'] ATH 24' Springfield- One of the better overall players and athletes at the 5A level, scored 2 TDs for the Millers (31,18), as they trounced a sub-par Crater team 43-13. Babbitt will project as a 1st team all-conference guy on both sides of the football.

[player_tooltip player_id='738727' first='Logan' last='Whitlock'] RB 24' Henley- Whitlock should be considered a 4A POY favorite, scoring 6 TDs against what many consider a good 4A team in Ashland. Whitlock had 5 short yardage TDs and a kick return in Henley's 46-15 win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1095877' first='Ryder' last='Scheid'] RB 24' South Medford- The Panthers have spread the ball around this season and that stayed true against McNary with Scheid rushing for 4 TDs(29,25,8,3) in the 35-0-win McNary.
