Next Level: 2025 LB sets visits; NM Players excelling for ENMU

<p>Friday morning, he boarded a flight to Seattle for his first official visit to the University of Washington. The Huskies are hosting Cal at 8:30 p.m. MT on ESPN. Next weekend (Sept. 30-Oct. 1), he'll make the five-hour trip over to Texas Tech in Lubbock. The following weekend (Oct. 6-7), he'll go to Madison, WI for an official visit to Wisconsin.</p>

<p>The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Posa has become the hottest commodity in New Mexico high school football over the past several weeks. When the calendar flipped to September, Posa held offers from New Mexico and New Mexico State as well as a wrestling scholarship offer from Arizona State.</p>

<p>Posa's recruiting fortunes changed significantly on Sept. 4 when Washington offered, becoming his first Power 5 offer.</p>

<p>In rapid succession, Posa was offered (in chronological order) by Wisconsin, Cal, Arizona State, Utah, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, TCU and Duke.</p>

<p>Today, Posa has 11 offers, nine from Power schools.</p>

<p>Going into Thursday night's game (La Cueva won, 38-0), Posa had a team-high 47 tackles, 5 TFL, 1 sack, and 2 fumbles caused.</p>

<p><strong>NM PLAYERS EXCELLING FOR EASTERN NEW MEXICO</strong>: The Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds are off to a perfect 3-0 start for the first time in 16 years, including a 28-26 victory over New Mexico Highlands in the Aug. 31 season opener.
