Week 4 Recap

As expected Douglas County West and Boone Central was in a competitive and close game. Ending in a 14-19 win for the Boone Central. The Cardinals were led by an insane run game by [player_tooltip player_id='250336' first='Parker' last='Borer'] who had 29 carries for 189 yards and a touchdown. [player_tooltip player_id='408450' first='Ryker' last='Wohlers'] lead the Falcon's in points catching 2 receptions one of them being a 15 yard touchdown. He also had an amazing kick return for another touchdown. In our second game was the complete opposite of the first game. The Millard South Patriots controlled the game from the very beginning. [player_tooltip player_id='319192' first='Dylan' last='Kuhl'] had 2 interceptions along with a fumble recovery. One of those interceptions even a pick 6. [player_tooltip player_id='487568' first='Amarion' last='Jackson'] lead the Patriots in receiving with only 8 catches for 122 yards and 2 touchdowns. Millard South would give Gretna it's first loss at home since 2020 38-7. Our final game was between Elkhorn and Skutt Catholic. Historically a classic Class-B game. Since 2020 the Antlers have dominated the series winning 3 straight. This year the Skyhawks got their revenge winning an 45-0.

Top Games of Week 5

Omaha North @ Omaha Central

Omaha North has had a successful season so far this year. Their only loss being a 3 point loss to Millard West in week 2. The rest of their games have been huge victories with at least 27 points in each game. The Vikings have used both rushing and passing this season to great success with 8 passing touchdowns and 10 rushing touchdowns. Jaron Cannon has led the Vikings on the ground dominating the gridiron with 584 yards and 5 touchdowns on his own. Kahlil Davis leads in receiving with 282 yards for 3 touchdowns. [player_tooltip player_id='245879' first='Tyson' last='Terry'] is one of their defensive highlights with 3 sacks a blocked field goal and 26 tackles. Omaha Central has had a back and fourth this season losing two games and winning two games. They have dominated this season and had an 11 point loss to Elkhorn South last week. [player_tooltip player_id='487569' first='BJ' last='Newsome'] has been the main key to the Eagles Offense. He has had 56 passes for 836 yards and 9 touchdowns. One of the biggest games in Omaha and Its definitely going to be one of the top games of the season.

Millard West @ South Sioux City

After a close week one lost to their rival Millard South the Millard West Wildcats have done a great job at responding each week. The Cardinal's only had 2 wins last season but this season they have already changed the stories. They are un defeated right now and they have scored at least 40 points per game prior to Week 5. [player_tooltip player_id='773257' first='Tony' last='Palmer'] as led the Cardinals with 831 yards and 14 touchdowns. The Gross Catholic Cougars vs the Ralston Rams. Gross comes into this game on a downward trend after going 2-0. They have lost the last two games and are definitely planning on taking their anger out on the field against Ralston. The Cougars mainly rely on quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='307090' first='Colby' last='Duncan'] who prior to last week had 41 passes for 521 yards and 3 touchdowns.
