<p>With another week of high school football action in the books, it's time to visit the Bluegrass State to highlight some of the most explosive standouts that have established themselves on the field so far this season. Today, we will be focusing our attention on some impactful prospects from Class 5A that should be entertaining to watch in week six of competition in the state of Kentucky.</p>

<p>At the top of my list of notable performers is [player_tooltip player_id='340071' first='Deuce' last='Bailey'], a 6-foot-1, 170-pound quarterback at Bowling Green High School. In five games at the helm of the Purples' offense, Bailey has thrown 104 completions out of 145 attempts for 1,566 yards and 17 touchdowns. Bailey also holds 94 yards and three scores on 20 rush attempts. What makes Bailey so dangerous is his outstanding passing and ability to hit his receivers in stride from anywhere on the field. Another aspect of Bailey's playstyle that stands out is his speed and ability to break tackles.</p>

<p>I am additionally impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='381911' first='Gray' last='Price'], a 6-foot-0, 200-pound linebacker at Greenwood High School. In five contests with the Gators' defense, Price has picked up 47 total tackles, including 24 solo stops, 23 assisted takedowns and five tackles for loss. Price has also forced three fumbles and has made one fumble recovery. In addition to excellent size, speed, physicality and execution off the snap, Price stands out with his ability to stay locked in, apply pressure, collapse the pocket and get to the quarterback.</p>

<p>Claiming the number three spot on my list is [player_tooltip player_id='762510' first='Eli' last='Masterson'], a 6-foot-1, 200-pound athlete at Apollo High School. In five games with the Eagles, Masterson picked up 20 receptions for 442 yards and five touchdowns. Masterson has additionally made two rush attempts for a total of 10 yards. What stands out most about Masterson is his versatile edge and breakaway speed, showcasing his reliable catching and ability to advance offensive production in the backfield. Masterson also contributes a strong rush, blasting the defense in the pocket to get into the open field.</p>

<p>Another skilled prospect worth keeping an eye on is [player_tooltip player_id='331739' first='Bryce' last='Button'], a 6-foot-2, 180-pound quarterback at South Warren High School. In five games under center for the Spartans' offense, Button has thrown 90 completions out of 144 attempts for 1,586 yards and 17 touchdowns. Button has additionally collected 28 rush attempts for 203 yards and three scores. In addition to quick execution and composure under pressure, Button impresses me with his solid footwork, his ability to connect with his receivers on deep shots and his consistent durability on the ground.</p>

<p>Coming in at number five on my list of standouts is [player_tooltip player_id='373794' first='Kanyon' last='Johnson'], a 6-foot-5, 200-pound athlete at Madisonville-North Hopkins High School. In five contest with the Maroons, Johnson has thrown 64 completions out of 93 attempts for 824 yards and seven touchdowns. Johnson also picked up 62 rush attempts for 723 yards and 10 scores. What stands out most about Johnson is his ability to control the offense from two different positions, showcasing his arm strength and quick release as well as his ability to escape the defense with his electric speed.</p>
