Louisiana's high school football season is underway with a great first week of standout performances already in the books and another three months' worth on the horizon.

Prep Redzone Louisiana has picked five players each area of the state to prioritize catching in person this fall.

The series will limit inclusion of teammates in order to incorporate more teams, and older players receive preference with fewer opportunities left to see them before they wrap up their high school careers.

For the third segment of the series, here are the "Catch 5 Live" selections for the Shreveport area.

[player_tooltip player_id='710281' first='Cole' last='Cory'] | 5-10, 160 WR | North DeSoto (2025)

The junior wide receiver or his sophomore quarterback — fresh off leading the Griffins to their first-ever state championship appearance and looking for more this fall — had to be on this list. Cory is a speedy, prolific threat for an offense that figures to rack up some huge numbers this fall, as well as for a return game that should break a game or two open along the way as well. His quickness with the ball in his hands or in his route-running help him create space all over the field, and his timing and great hands enable him to play bigger than his physical size with his strong abilities to high-point the ball and consistently make diving catches.

[player_tooltip player_id='401735' first='Antonio' last='Gladney'] | 5-10, 175 ATH | Parkway (2026)

Grambling State became the first college to offer the Panthers' dynamic 2026 weapon this spring, and many more are sure to follow. Much sooner than later if Gladney continues to perform the way he did a few days ago in the season opener: 22 carries, 272 yards and four touchdowns. Whether he ends up a receiver or a running back at the next level, Gladney is one of Louisiana's most promising young prospects to watch this year and well beyond.

[player_tooltip player_id='710075' first='Devin' last='Harper'] | 6-5, 295 OL | Captain Shreve (2025)

The Gators are one of the teams on this list that could've had any number of representatives on this list — or a special feature of five or more players from their roster alone with [player_tooltip player_id='144898' first='Tre' last='Fuller'], [player_tooltip player_id='716834' first='Jamarlon' last='Otis'], [player_tooltip player_id='401969' first='Jamarcea' last='Plater'] and the list goes on. But let's give the nod to the big offensive lineman, whose recruitment has exploded into one of the most sought-after prospects in the position group not only in the state, but the nation. Quarterbacks and skill guys are making up the majority of the series. But Harper is among the elite blockers worth going to check out with an aggressiveness and physicality to his game that are fun to watch, and he's part of a strong line overall that also includes potential Division-I 2024 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='421526' first='Jeremy' last='Duncan'].

[player_tooltip player_id='285618' first='Gabriel' last='Reliford'] | 6-2, 250 DL | Evangel Christian (2024)

The Eagles' defensive end is a freak athlete in terms of his impressive track speed with his strong build and overall size and the top prospect on a potentially salty defense as a whole. Reliford is one of less than two dozen current SEC commitments around the state and one of the highest-ranked prospects in Shreveport in any upcoming recruiting class. He announced his pledge to Texas A&M this summer, but has since drawn an offer from in-state LSU that is worth monitoring between now and signing day, although he has re-emphasized his pledge to the Aggies.

[player_tooltip player_id='145363' first='Landon' last='Sylvie'] | 5-10, 150 DB | Calvary Baptist (2024)

The Cavaliers are another program high on the list of "this pick could go any number of ways" in this exercise with a depth of talent all over the field. The sharp, ballhawking safety is a senior particularly high on that list as an underrated prospect smaller in stature, but not shy on physicality. His coaches praise him as a quarterback in the secondary with a combination of anticipation and football speed that make him a consistent playmaker on the state championship-hopeful defense.
