Calvary Baptist vs. Captain Shreve eye-catchers

<p>Calvary Baptist overcame an early defensive miscue to quickly turn a highly anticipated matchup against Captain Shreve into a largely one-team track meet.</p>   <p>The Cavaliers scored in all three phases in a 61-27 victory that asserted their dominance not only as a Class 2A contender, but as one of the top teams in any classification with their rout of the Class 5A Gators.</p>   <p>Here were eight of the top standouts for the teams' Week 1 matchup.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvzUHZqBtLw </div></figure>   <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='285616' first='Hutch' last='Grace'] | 6-1, 215 LB/DB | Calvary Baptist (2024)</strong></p>   <p>The safety/linebacker has been a standout playmaker for the Cavaliers since an eight-interception sophomore season and is off to a strong start to his senior season playing around the box and in the slot. Miller did a great job all spring and summer on the 7-on-7 circuits playing the middle of the field and anticipating and disrupting passing lanes.
