Best District 3 Games Week 3

1)Manheim Township vs. Harrisburg. Manheim Township and Harrisburg part 3. Manheim Township beat Harrisburg last year in the regular season and then lost to them in the District Championship. Manheim Township comes into this game 2-0 on the year and has outscored Cumberland Valley and Dallastown by a total of 91-6 in the first two weeks of the year. Harrisburg is also 2-0 on the year and has outscored their opponents 83-20 against York High and Delaware Valley. Two juggernauts will meet between Manheim Township and Harrisburg. It should be a good game and it would not surprise me if both teams meet later in the year in the playoffs.   1A) Trinity vs. Wyomissing. Wow, this is another fun game here. Talking about contrasting styles. Wyomissing with their wing-t offense vs. Trinity and their spread offense. Both teams are physically tough and both have good athletes. Trinity and Wyomissing are both coming off District Title runs from last year. I love this game as well because both teams are challenging themselves to play a tougher opponent before league play begins. Oh by the way Wyomissing is going for their 38th straight regular season win. If they win this game they will have earned it.   3) Central Dauphin vs. Coatesville. I love this game so much. Coatesville is a state power from the Ches-Mont League and is coming to Harrisburg to take on Central Dauphin. Coatesville is coming in at 2-0 on the year after beating Pennsbury and Academy Park on the year. Central Dauphin comes in 1-1 on the year after a loss against Central York and an overtime win against Wilson. This should be a fun game against two highly competitive teams.   4) Steelton-Highspire vs. West Catholic. Another fun game here!! West Catholic is 0-1 on the year after losing to Northeast last weekend. West Catholic is generally one of the better teams in the Philadelphia Catholic League. Steelton-Highspire comes into this game 2-0 on the year having beaten Imani Christian Academy from Virginia, and Eastern High School out of Washington D.C. I would expect West Catholic to come into the game and give Steelton-Highspire a good test.   5) Central York vs. Hempfield. Central York is coming into this game 2-0 on the year having beaten Central Dauphin and Cumberland Valley on the year. Hempfield is coming into this game 1-1 on the year. Hempfield beat Dallastown in week 1 and lost to York High last week. This should be a good game between two excellent programs. Both teams trying to build momentum on the season.
