Timpview Thunderbirds

The Thunderbirds are 4-1, fresh off a 17-0 win over Springville. Trinity To'a made a big field goal while [player_tooltip player_id='406975' first='Quezon' last='Villa'] registered a score on the ground.

2. Box Elder Bees

The Bees beat Roy in a hard-fought 42-34 bout. Box Elder is 5-0 after Dax Sumko had over 280 yards on the ground and three touchdowns, while Nathan Pugsley had 15 tackles in the week five win.

3. West Panthers

The Panthers powered their way through Alta 53-27 to improve. Kelvin Malepeai had 220 yards on the ground and four touchdowns, while Foti Vaenuku and [player_tooltip player_id='681354' first='Taimane' last='Brown'] combined for 39 tackles and four sacks.

4. Brighton Bengals

The Bengals beat Olympus in a big Region 6 showdown 24-20. [player_tooltip player_id='1294924' first='Mason' last='Haertel'] had over 100 yards on the ground, while Dylan Thomas and Miles Morgan each had an interception in the win.

5. East Leopards

East had a week five bye but found a spot in our top five because of their big week four win over Alta. [player_tooltip player_id='698479' first='Dameon' last='Crosby'] is starting to heat up, while Samuela Tuai leads the Leopard's elite defense.

6. Alta Hawks

The Haws suffered a hard-fought loss to West in week five. Alta still has elite players on both sides of the ball, like [player_tooltip player_id='406968' first='Peizge' last='Mailei'] and Jake Meyer, who will help them get back on the winning track.

7. Roy Royals

The Royals nearly notched a big upset vs. Box Elder but couldn't complete a late comeback. Dru Garnder is settling in nicely for the Roy offense, and [player_tooltip player_id='1563997' first='Hunter' last='Webb'] making plays on defense.

8. Springville Red Devils

The Red Devils defense had a strong showing vs. Timpview, but they were unable to score in the week five loss. [player_tooltip player_id='406997' first='Tevita' last='Valeti'] and [player_tooltip player_id='406957' first='Dallin' last='Johnson'] are two of the best players in the state, so counting out Springville would be a mistake.

9. Hunter Wolverines

The Wolverines had a bye in week five but were very impressive in their week four 33-15 win over Copper Hills. Hunter quarterback Uluaki Taukiuvea had his best passing game of the year the last time he took the field, while Sione Mmanisela had nine tackles in the big win over the Grizzlies.

10. Granger Lancers

The Lancers lost to Weber in a back-and-forth contest 28-21. [player_tooltip player_id='870715' first='Carson' last='Su'esu'e'] had over 330 yards of total offense, while [player_tooltip player_id='681224' first='Vaka' last='Patetefa'] had nine tackles and two sacks in the tough loss.
