Eli Beal
Eli Beal
Eli is a tough running back for the Springfield and has been getting a fair share of the carries this season. His sleek running style has afforded him several big-time performances already this season. What I like about his game is his toughness and ability to pick up those tough yards. Beal has shown that he has good top-end speed for a sophomore, he is giving us flashes of how good he could be at the end of the 2023 season; he is a must-watch player!

Tyler Morgan
Tyler Morgan
Tyler Morgan first impressed me at the scrimmage vs. Akron Hoban in the preseason. Morgan is a tough-nosed football player looking to deliver the blow from the Safety position and his primary role at RB. Tyler has come onto the scene intense in 2023 with his backfield partner in Braswell; the duo has been dominant thus far, setting the tone for what appears to be another good season for the Irish. Morgan has the next-level ability, and his recruitment will increase over the next several months.
Josh Takats
Josh Takats
Perrysburg has been off to a great start in 2023, and a lot has to do with a first-year starter at QB in Josh Takats. Josh has shown tremendous leadership skills and skill to help lead his team to an early 4-0 start. Takats has scored over ten passing touchdowns this season while throwing for over 500 yards. Takats has impressed with his ability to run the football in challenging situations this season and made them look easy. Josh is a rising star at Perrysburg and has an excellent start to his first year as a starter.
Avery Offenburg
Avery Offenburg
Avery has stepped out from behind the center this season and emerged as one of the top receiving targets for the Cougars. Avery showed his dominance in week four vs. the undefeated Perrysburg. Offenburg is the big play target in this offense, but his toughness as a downfield blocker is also critical to the run game. Since the change of position, it seems that Offenburg can show off his versatility as an athlete which, will ultimately help his recruitment throughout the season.
