I’ve been traveling around New England each weekend catching live-action games looking for rising talent and viewing identified prospects perform in a live setting. In this report, I will preview prospects I observed play in a live-action game that stood out and caught my attention during weeks of travel. I will also include all top prospects’ names given to me by their respective coaches while attending these games.
DJ Biggins DJ Biggins 6’1″ | 165 lbs | ATH Kingswood Oxford Ct. | 2026 State New E A rising sophomore with very good potential. He has a lean muscular frame with length in his arms. He is a WR who displayed very good athletic coordination. rnHas the desire to block and executed good blocking technique on the perimeter. He is experienced in getting off press man coverages. I observed him disengaging the defender’s hands and gaining inside or outside leverage to get around the defender. He was aggressive with his hands and quick with his feet. He won the majority of battles at the line of scrimmage against a pressed corner.
Jack Difilippo He executes very good leverage when engaging with 1st level defenders. Maintains his blocks while using good hand placement to the whistle. Has good strength in lower body that allowed him to finish blocks with a few defenders on their backside. He showed the ability to get both cleats in the ground at pre-snap while displaying good ankle and knee flexibility. Moves his feet quickly while maintaining a strong base.
Highlights
Jacob Bierenbroodspot Jacob Bierenbroodspot 5’8″ | 160 lbs | RB Boston College | 2024 State New E He was a spark in his teams offense. He has an effective jump cut ability that makes defenders miss. He uses very good lean and a low center of gravity when running the ball. He executed jet sweeps for positive yardages with great vision. His loose hips allow him to twist and turn instinctively when running to avoid being tackled. Plays downhill on inside run plays and follows his blocks well.
Jaxon Pereira Jaxon Pereira 5’10” | 160 lbs | ATH Central Catholic | 2024 State New E Stepping in for a Power 5 committed recruit is no easy task. Pereira is a bit different when comparing his QB skills to 2024 teammate and Clemson Committ; Blake Hebert Blake Hebert 6’4″ | 210 lbs | QB Brunswick School | 2025 State New E who was not available due top a injury. But one thing I walked away with after viewing him play is he sure can make plays, and is a very athletic individual. He is a projected WR/DB at the next level and his recruitment will dictate likely what position he plays at the next level.rnHe executed a beautiful 27-yard TD pass that showed he can play the QB position along with being a versatile athlete. He entered his senior season with several offers from schools such as Saint Anselm, Bates College, Williams College and Bently University.
Jackson Richard Jackson Richard 6’0″ | 190 lbs | DB Boston College | 2025 New E . A few things to know about Richards is he plays fast and with a motor. Observed as a single back set, he took a toss for 53-yard touchdown and avoided several defenders with his quickness and speed down the sideline. He displayed a high desire to be an effective blocker when used as a lead in two back sets. On one play, he engaged with a defender in the backfield and finished the block twenty yards downfield. He was aggressive and physical the entire game and stood out amongst many good athletes on the field.
