Davis had a very good junior year on the baseball field batting .333 which tells you how good of an athlete he is. He'll likely play baseball in college but Davis is also a talented football player. The 5'8 145 speedster plays receiver and cornerback for Keyser and is a quick and speedy athlete. Although they don't throw the ball often, Davis is one of their top targets on the outside and can slip by defensive backs with his speed. Davis is also solid in pass coverage from his cornerback position and has the ability to run with most receivers. Even if Davis decides to play baseball in college, he's still worthy of making note of his work on the football field too.rnrnu003cstrongu003eu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/profile/14883812/Chase-Davisu0022u003eHudlu003c/au003e | u003ca href=u0022https://twitter.com/chxse35du0022u003eTwitteru003c/au003eu003c/strongu003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["941607"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_player_featured_image":941628,"_player_evaluations_1_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"One of many athletes that sees carries in Keyser's Wing-T offense is [player_tooltip player_id='941607' first='Kaii' last='Kingman']. The 5'9 155 rising senior is the speed option at running back for the Golden Tornado that has the capabilities to break off big gains. Even as a smaller running back, Kingman has the toughness to run between the tackles and will lower his shoulder to deliver a blow. He's dangerous when he gets in space and has the speed to run away from defenders. Kingman is light on his feet and can make defenders miss consistently. He has some wiggle and twitch to him and is very good at shaking defenders in open space. Kingman also showed good vision when making cuts which also helps him avoid tackles.rnrnu003cstrongu003eu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/profile/14977772/Kaii-Kingmanu0022u003eHudlu003c/au003e | u003ca href=u0022https://twitter.com/imkaii2xu0022u003eTwitteru003c/au003eu003c/strongu003e","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["941611"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_player_featured_image":941629,"_player_evaluations_2_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Keyser has a nice defensive and special teams player in 2024 DB [player_tooltip player_id='941611' first='Josh' last='Shoemaker']. Shoemaker starts at free safety for the Golden Tornado and is solid in both run defense and pass coverage. He has good size at 5'11 185 and I like his physicality as a defensive back. Shoemaker is a very good tackler that does well in space but can also run and defend the pass. You can see his speed on his running back highlights but I like him more as a DB. I enjoyed seeing the amount of special teams highlights he had in his junior highlight video and you can tell he takes that part of the game seriously. Shoemaker will be one of Keyser's top seniors for the 2023 season.rnrnu003cstrongu003eu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/profile/14884778/Josh-Shoemakeru0022u003eHudlu003c/au003e | u003ca href=u0022https://twitter.com/JoshShoemaker13u0022u003eTwitteru003c/au003eu003c/strongu003e","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["908991"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_player_featured_image":941630,"_player_evaluations_3_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"I like the future outlook for 2025 linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='908991' first='Jullian' last='Pattison'] for Keyser and he has the potential to be one of the best linebackers in Class AA. Pattison has good size for the position in the 6'1 230 range and if he can increase his speed and quickness he'll be a sought-after prospect. Pattison is a strong rising junior that spends ample time in the weight room and is built well for his position. That size and strength translate well to the field where he's a stout tackler and is very physical. Pattison is also the starting punter for the Golden Tornado and is pretty talented there as well. Pattison made our 2025 rankings Watch List for the state rankings and came in as the #10 rated linebacker for his class.rnrnu003cstrongu003eu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/profile/16364711/jullian-pattisonu0022u003eHudlu003c/au003e | u003ca href=u0022https://twitter.com/PattisonJullianu0022u003eTwitteru003c/au003eu003c/strongu003e","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["907614"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_player_featured_image":941631,"_player_evaluations_4_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='907614' first='Tristen' last='Root'] was a Class AA Honorable Mention All-State performer for the Keyser Golden Tornado as a sophomore in 2022. Root also earned First Team All-Conference and All-Area as well and should be one of Keyser's premier players for the next two years. Root is a fullback/running back in their Wing-T offense and one of their bigger bodies that see carries. The 5'11 180 Root has pretty good speed for a fullback and also plays cornerback which tells you how athletic he is. He has the versatility to be a power and speed back that can run between the tackles and break away for big runs. Root also has the strength to break tackles often and also block in the running game effectively. Expect him to have two more very good seasons for Keyser and rack up even more accolades.rnrnu003cstrongu003eu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/profile/16269820/Tristen-Rootu0022u003eHudlu003c/au003e | u003ca href=u0022https://twitter.com/RootTristenu0022u003eTwitteru003c/au003eu003c/strongu003e","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-64d268777f1fe"} /-->
