The 6'0 250 rising senior was a big reason for their running game success in 2022 which saw the now departed [player_tooltip player_id='370282' first='Ian' last='Cline'] rush for over 1,200 yards and 17 touchdowns a season ago. Although the Spartans had a successful run game, Cole was able to put solid pass-blocking abilities on film too. Even though he's not the biggest lineman, Cole holds up well against bigger bodies and showed he has the physicality to match up with them. He plays with good leverage and has the strength to make up for his lack of prototypical size. Cole stands his ground well and does a nice job when a nose guard is lined up over him. He will be one of the Spartans' leaders this season and a name D3 colleges need to know.rnrnu003cstrongu003eu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/profile/13556111/Aiden-Coleu0022u003eHudlu003c/au003e | u003ca href=u0022https://twitter.com/aidencole27u0022u003eTwitteru003c/au003eu003c/strongu003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["943713"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_player_featured_image":943737,"_player_evaluations_1_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"A new long snapper name to know in the 2024 class is Greenbrier East's [player_tooltip player_id='943713' first='Logan' last='Hayes']. Hayes hasn't posted film yet from the 2022 season but he had some available from his sophomore year. He's not your traditional long snapper from a size standpoint at 5'8 150 but Hayes is steady at the position. To trust a sophomore at an underrated but essential position such as long snapper speaks to how much trust his coaches had in him when he was younger. Hayes handles both punt and kick long snapping and also has the athleticism to cover punts. I'm not sure at his size if a traditional college would take him, but if not a Sprint Football team would surely be interested in his abilities.rnrnu003cstrongu003eu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/profile/16724469/Logan-Hayesu0022u003eHudlu003c/au003e | u003ca href=u0022https://twitter.com/LoganHayes02u0022u003eTwitteru003c/au003eu003c/strongu003e","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["943753"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_player_featured_image":943754,"_player_evaluations_2_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Colin u0022CWu0022 Sturgell is a tough two-way player for the Greenbrier East Spartans. The 5'9 200 rising junior starts at fullback and linebacker for the Spartans and showed good things at both positions as a sophomore in 2022. Sturgell is a little undersized but is put together well for his age and you can tell he lives in the weight room. He's a physical player that runs hard on offense and can break arm tackles and also lay the wood on defense. His strength benefits him when he's blocking as a fullback and allows him to be a sure tackler at linebacker. Strugell isn't a blazer but has enough speed that he can rip off some big gains and break free at times. With stud running back [player_tooltip player_id='370282' first='Ian' last='Cline'] transferring out of state, Sturgell may have to carry the load this season for the Spartans.rnrnu003cstrongu003eu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/profile/15162993/CW-Sturgellu0022u003eHudlu003c/au003e | u003ca href=u0022https://twitter.com/cw_sturgell2u0022u003eTwitteru003c/au003eu003c/strongu003e","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["893391"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_player_featured_image":943804,"_player_evaluations_3_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='893391' first='Ethan' last='Holliday'] had an exceptional junior season for Greenbrier West which earned him Class A First Team All-State as a utility player. He won't wow you with his size at 5'10 160 but Holliday is tough as nails. He starts on both sides of the ball and had 387 yards receiving and 4 touchdowns while also rushing for almost 200 yards and 5 touchdowns. It was on the defensive side of the ball where Holliday shined the most racking up 122 tackles, 3 interceptions, and 3 forced fumbles. Holliday is a bit of a safety/linebacker hybrid that can move into the box or play at free safety. He has the speed and running ability to cover the pass but also the physicality and toughness to play in the box. Holliday is the kind of athlete that you can task with doing anything on the football field and he'll execute without hesitation. That kind of versatility makes him a valuable player and one of the better high school football athletes in Class A.rnrnu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/profile/16558960/Ethan-Hollidayu0022u003eu003cstrongu003eHudlu003c/strongu003eu003c/au003e","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["894273"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_player_featured_image":943805,"_player_evaluations_4_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='894273' first='Cole' last='Vandall'] is a do-it-all athlete for the Greenbrier West Cavaliers that can line up all over the field on both sides of the ball. Vandall will be the starting quarterback this season for the Cavaliers and also saw time there last season. He earned Class A Second Team All-State as a defensive lineman a year ago as a junior and was one of their key pieces on defense that only allowed 57 points during the regular season in 2022. Vandall also saw time at running back and could likely play tight end or linebacker at the next level as well. I got to see him in person this summer at Bethany College's prospect camp and he's an impressive athlete. Vandall was also the Class A 215-pound state wrestling champion and just an overall great athlete. Vandall picked up an offer from Bethany after their camp and should be one of Class A's premier players this season.rnrnu003cstrongu003eu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/profile/14891411/Cole-Vandallu0022u003eHudlu003c/au003e | u003ca href=u0022https://twitter.com/VandallColeu0022u003eTwitteru003c/au003eu003c/strongu003e","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-64d3e235a8c5e"} /-->
