South Pointe’s defense picked up right where they left off last week. Zantawn Nelson recorded a pick six while Fred Reese returned a blocked punt for a touchdown in the Stallions’ 35-13 win over Rock Hill.
Kameron Vance Kameron Vance 5'7" | 160 lbs | WR Northwestern | 2026 State SC | WR | Northwestern
Vance had touchdown catches of 43 and 15 yards from Finley Polk Finley Polk 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Northwestern | 2025 State SC in the second quarter as Northwestern routed Clover 56-12. Polk threw for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.
Debo Hall Debo Hall 5'11" | 185 lbs | DB York | 2024 State SC | DB | York
Hall (pictured above) had a solid debut to his senior season. He picked up an interception right at the halftime horn in the Cougars’ 30-14 win over Nation Ford on Friday. His ability to read and react to plays is fun to watch and he can make a difference on special teams.
Elijah Coleman Elijah Coleman 5'9" | 200 lbs | RB Clover | 2024 State SC | RB | Chester
Coleman is on a tear right now in the early stages of the season. He followed up a strong Week 0 performance against Lancaster, running for 189 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-24 win over Fort Mill on Friday.
Trey Wanger | LB | York
Wanger got his senior season off to a solid start in the Cougars’ win over Nation Ford. He had one sack and five tackles. He can pursue the play from behind and has a motor that is always running.
