Jake Maxwell - Veterans

A strong-armed quarterback still somewhat flying under the radar, Maxwell is a promising quarterback out of Kathleen, Georgia who is coming off a great junior season last year. He has good size at 6-foot-2 175-pounds and has shown the ability to win games with his arm. Maxwell has had some monster games so far this season, throwing for over 340 yards in five games this fall. He's had one game where he didn't light up the state sheet and has passed for over 150 yards in every game but one. In just 8 games, Maxwell was 166/261 for 2,428 yards and 15 touchdowns. His biggest game came in a win over Tift County where he threw for 368 yards and three touchdowns. He can stretch the field with his arm and knows how to play the position. He's a gamer. He may not be the biggest or fastest quarterback in Middle Georgia, but he was one of the most productive last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='321436' first='Jakhari' last='Williams'] - FPD

Arguably the top dual-threat quarterback in the Macon and Middle Georgia area, Williams id a dynamic runner who can pick up yards in a hurry on the ground. A raw passer, Williams has a raw, but talented arm that will only get better and better over time. He throws an accurate ball down the field but knows how to sling one into tight spaces as well. A very good athlete, Williams moves well in the pocket and has the ability to take off and run whenever he sees a crease. As a passer last season, the Syracuse commitment threw for 2,384 yards and 21 touchdowns. He had some fantastic games last year, throwing for at least 220 yards in seven games last year. He also took off for just over 1,000 yards and 14 more touchdowns. He was deadly on the ground, rushing for over 200 yards twice last year as a junior. He's ridiculously talented and not even close to playing his best football. He's without a doubt one of the best quarterbacks in Middle Georgia heading into this 2023 seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='332440' first='Judd' last='Anderson'] - Jones County

He may not have lit up the stat sheet last year, but make no mistake, the big 6-foot-6 225-pound Miami Hurricanes commitment is one of the top quarterback prospects in Middle Georgia. He stands out physically and shows plenty of raw potential. He has a live arm, but he also does a good job of putting air under neath his passes. Just watching him play, you can see the D1 caliber talent quickly. He moves well in the pocket, knows how to buy time, and has enough arm talent to rip a strike down the field. Even when he's throwing on the run or slinging it off-balance, Anderson has enough arm strength to put the ball where it needs to be. The Gray native can make a lot of different throws and has a chance to have a major senior season with plenty of weapons around him heading into the 2023 season. The raw tools are there, and if he continues to develop more and more as a passer, he could light up the stat sheet in a big way this year.
