[player_tooltip player_id='152354' first='Cru' last='Newman'] QB 24' Central Catholic

Both Nemec and I have Cru as the favorite to be Oregon's POY even if the Rams don't win the state title. The 2x Mt Hood Conference POY is the exception to the rule from a size standpoint, and has put up some of the most impressive stats ever recorded among in state QB's.

[player_tooltip player_id='152333' first='Lonnie' last='Burt'] RB 24' Jesuit

As referenced look for Lonnie to destroy the Metro League and be a 2000+ yard back. The Crusaders do graduate the top line in the state but Burt Jr. is a physical specimen and should be fine regardless.

[player_tooltip player_id='284119' first='Ansu' last='Sanoe'] RB 26' Lakeridge

One of the top RB's in the nation for his class. You can expect a big year from the 4* back as it's now or never for the Pacers.

[player_tooltip player_id='152337' first='Wiley' last='Donnerberg'] WR 24' West Linn

Donnerberg has the potential of being the #1 recruit in the state. The Lions are so loaded that the ball will likely be spread around to numerous athletes from a statistical standpoint, which typically doesn't help from a POY perspective.

[player_tooltip player_id='152653' first='Zhaiel' last='Smith'] WR 25' Central Catholic

I have Smith ranked my #1 recruit in the state for 2025, but much like West Linn, the Rams are deep and will have a handful of different athletes in the mix offensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='152344' first='Hunter' last='Haines'] S 24' West Linn

Hunter is coming off his 4.39 laser forty at UO. This in combination with West Linn being a favorite to win the state title, and I like the unanimous 1st team all TRL DB to lead all candidates for the award. He could potentially go off on offense as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='152355' first='AJ' last='Noland'] S 24' Tualatin

Can't say enough good things about Noland. He has 15 D1 offers and if the T-Wolves make a title run he will be your leading candidate for POY honors.

[player_tooltip player_id='527032' first='Mana' last='Tuioti'] LB 25' Sheldon

His brother Teitum Tuioti was the unquestioned POY within Oregon last year. Mana doesn't have the same size but is an unreal talent, who I personally see as being a conference POY favorite this year as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='511342' first='Will' last='Haverland'] DE 24' Sheldon

Haverland's recent Montana offer was well deserved. The Irish graduate a special senior class so if Haverland can help his team make a deep run in the playoffs, that would go a long way in garnering this type of accolade.

[player_tooltip player_id='286686' first='Zachary' last='Davis'] OLB 25' Central Catholic

I've had Davis consistently ranked one of the top recruits in the state for 2025. The Rams will likely be playing for a state title, so that always helps when it comes to the awards.
