San Diego Program Preview: Mission Hills

They'll face early tests in their non-league schedule with talented local teams- Granite Hills and San Marcos. The 2023 offense features two QBs more than capable of producing explosive plays in the passing game and a three-year starter at WR. He's shown strength in his arm and accuracy towards the sideline- he just picked up a D-III offer from Pacific University in late July. Also in the QB mix is 2026 prospect, [player_tooltip player_id='401299' first='Troy' last='Huhn'], who's added offers from Arizona, ASU, Texas A&amp;M, Indiana, UCF, and Nebraska since February. He's a natural passer with elite upside in his arm talent and mechanics. Senior WR [player_tooltip player_id='195567' first='Jayden' last='Williams'] is the top returning playmaker- he's a skilled athlete on the perimeter that can create separation and adjust to the ball downfield. Williams added offers from Culver-Stockton and Benedictine in June. Senior WR/CB <strong>Ryder</strong> <strong>Ridill</strong> brings playmaking out of the slot. He's highly effective on twists/stunts as a pass rusher and makes an impact on special teams. Class just picked up his first pair of offers from hometown USD and Benedictine. Fellow senior DL <strong>Daniel</strong> <strong>Torres</strong> is another physical presence that can line up at DT or DE. Senior ILB <strong>Mason</strong> <strong>Shane</strong> is an athletic defender that can play in space and drop into coverage. Senior CB [player_tooltip player_id='683670' first='Jalen' last='Veasey'] is a long, rangy cover-corner that plays with instincts and anticipation in zone coverage.
