After two back-to-back nine-win seasons, the Rogers Mounties have the potential to make a deep playoff run this upcoming season. The Mounties have been consistent the past couple of years. Implementing a hard-nosed defense and an offense that can keep you off-balance with both the run and the pass. The Mounties are a team to watch out for this upcoming season.

Looking first at the offensive side of the ball for the Mounties. Rogers signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='393021' first='Dane' last='Williams'] is a quarterback that has a knack for making the big play. Williams had a strong 2022 football season. Williams threw for 2,369 yards and 25 touchdowns in 2022. He has put on display a willingness to use his legs to extend drives. Williams is a prospect with the potential to have an impressive 2023 season.

The Mounties' rushing attack is strong and tends to fly under the radar a little more than it should. [player_tooltip player_id='287977' first='Jacob' last='Jenkins'] is a running back that just gets stronger the more he carries the football. Last season, Jenkins found the end zone 17 times for the Mounties. He is a running back that does a great job of allowing rushing lanes to appear before choosing a lane. The Mounties do a great job of establishing the rushing attack and this year should not be any different.

The 7-A West has some of the most talented wide receivers in the state of Arkansas. Roges has a talented receiving corps that is capable of taking over a game. [player_tooltip player_id='248892' first='Mabry' last='Verser'] is a 6'4” wide receiver that is a matchup problem for opposing defensive backs. He hauled in 54 passes for 754 yards and 6 touchdowns last season. I look for him to have another strong season this season. Meanwhile, [player_tooltip player_id='193040' first='Graycen' last='Cash'] is a wide receiver that can stretch the field for the Mounties. He caught 48 passes for 559 yards and 5 touchdowns a season ago. [player_tooltip player_id='377020' first='Braxton' last='Lindsey'] and Jansen Garner are going to be nightmares for opposing defenses to contend with this season.

The defensive side of the ball has plenty of talented prospects returning for the upcoming season. Rogers has the talent on defense to cause plenty of problems for opposing offensive coordinators. Coming off of the edge is defensive lineman Benet Tiner. Tiner uses his speed well to get into the opposing offensive backfield. At the linebacker spots, the Mounties have two prospects that have the potential to play on Saturdays in the future. [player_tooltip player_id='248888' first='Isaac' last='Chapman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='377020' first='Braxton' last='Lindsey'] are always around the ball carrier and will cause plenty of headaches for the opposing offense.
