PROSPECT SHEET: Blountstown Tigers

As we will continue to do in the off season, spotlighting prospects and teams will be part of our coverage as college coaches put a wrap on the 2023 class and look toward the future.   While we bring fans a look at these prospects who are searching for college attention, we also send this information and more to assist in the recruiting process.   For over a half century, we have been honored to help football prospects across the state of Florida get some well-deserved recognition.   We not only put these prospects on this website for all fans to see and follow, but all the information that is provided to us is passed on to the over 500 college coaches that are part of our recruiting coverage. This is something that we continue to do throughout the year.   Today's PROSPECT SHEET will be BLOUNTSTOWN (@BlountstownFB1), coached by Greg Jordan, who's Tigers finished 2022 with a 9-5 record.   Let's put this program in perspective this season. The school, located in the middle of the Florida Panhandle, 60 miles to the west of Tallahassee, and 60 miles to the east of Panama City in the Central Time Zone, is home to just 407 students.   While the football team has enjoyed success and notoriety this season, boasting three national recruits that are not only some of the best in the country, but among the Class of 2024 Top 105 prospects in the state, is something that you rarely see. Their regular season setbacks came against Port St. Joe, Bratt Northview and DeFuniak Springs Walton.   In the playoffs, they beat Wewahitchka, Port St. Joe for the second time and Sneads before losing to eventual state champion Hawthorne, 28-0.
