The Martin County Tigers Learned From the 2025 Season

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While the 2025 season didn't end the way that Stuart Martin County head football coach <strong>Rod Harris </strong>and his team had planned, this is a program that now gets respect from everyone in the region.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The district champion Tigers ended the season at 8-3, dropping an opening round contest against Hollywood McArthur, but this is a team that found out a lot about themselves – with several seniors lead the way with quite a few quality underclassmen who made an impact and set the table for the off-season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>That off-season has watched a few prospects showcase their talents and put themselves in a great position with the spring starting at the end of the month.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are a few players that will be part of the rising senior (2027) class who have taken the lead role and will use their experience, football skills and leadership to get this team set for another district title run in 2026.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here are a few of those Class of 2027 players to keep an eye on:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Emmanuel “Manny” Louis, QB, 6'3, 200 – 4.0 GPA. </strong>One of the emerging offensive leaders on the Treasure Coast. Brings plenty to the table for his senior season, throwing for 10 scores a year ago. Whether it's center or tackles, his footwork and ability to run or pass block will give him a huge advantage this coming season. He has a motor that doesn't stop, and while he may be taken out of a play at the start, he will make sure that he is right there when things come to an end. Will also be a force in the passing game with his quickness and passion. Has already shown that he will be a key player for this program, and we will see more of him this off-season.
